I want to send out a big heart felt Thank you to everyone that has worked to save my Chico. The doctors and staff have been so kind and patient with my 18 1/2 year old Pomeranian. Chico has been seen here at VCA for the last 10 to 12 years. I have other pets that I bring to VCA. I have always felt that give 110% to do everything they can to help my pets. Chico had 22 teeth pulled and neutered last Friday at a different veterinarian hospital. By Saturday night I felt that Chico was in too much pain and he wouldn’t take any of the medication from me nor would he eat or drink anything. So I rushed him to VCA and the staff was so kind. The doctor suggested some better pain medication and got it going so that he could get some rest. After a few more trips to VCA over the weekend for help administering his medications I’m happy to report that Chico is on the mend.he’s eating and drinking on his own and he’s walking around on his own. I’m starting to see light at the end of the tunnel thanks to VCA hospital and their staff.
Thank you so much.

Ginger's" care.after receiving your reply to my post I'm unsure what you want to discuss. There is no explanation as to why we were there for hours.when blood was drawn we were told 5 min.it was over an hour.then the wait for results was to be 40 min.again, over an hour.x-rays well over an hour.you should see the arrival time and leaving time in your records or video tapes. I only agreed to x-rays because I was quoted $80 total for blood work.this was a blantant lie because after Ginger was put to death the blood work was raised to $239.00. I was too emotionally upset and too exhausted to argue about it. People need to know about the tactics to make as much money as you can off of heartbreaking situations. When someone gets bad news they don't want to wait around to end their pets life! And then the Xtra blood work charges were a mind blower.the x-ray wasn't even necessary.we should have had a more caring "sales" person looking out for our best interests knowing how emotionally drained we were and held off on the x-rays until we got blood work.so in all essence, if this place had the best interests in all concerned, our charges would've been $80 for the visit, $80 for blood work and $152 for euthanasia.a total of $312.00.instead we were emotionally taken advantage of and lied to costing us $427.00 more from the your greed driven goals to make money. The only good part of the visit was the doctors knowledge and the fact that she was clearly a very compassionate woman
