VCA Foothill Veterinary Hospital

I'm not quite sure what has happened to change their procedures, because we took our dog during the height of Covid, but now they only take reservations at 7: 30am, with lineup 2 hours before! Then they're done, and that's all for the day. We even called and they just laughed at us, and hung up the phone. What's going on? I guess we'll be changing vets after 10 years!

For all of Covid they have had the worst walk in only policy. My dog has an injured paw and they made us wait in the hot sun, no shade, no water, 93 degrees outside.how is making a dog wait on hot pavement caring for animals? I’ve been going here for 8 years, the very least they could do is put some chairs and some shade in the parking lot for those of us that can’t afford cars.

During COVID, their opaque system forcing patients to stand outside their building in line at 6am to sign up for appointments is simply unmanageable and unprofessional. As is the fact that this system is not described neither on their telephone message nor on their website. Previously, we did not have a problem, and we had appreciated good service. But the current system is unworkable.

Lindsey and Dr Sarah Rickard are the best. They always take care of my Diesel and make sure he is cared for with the most gentleness. Diesel is my kid and doesn't know he is a dog yet, they help me keep the secret.

Great experience! I had no idea what vaccinations/tests were needed for the stray kitten I found and I asked an annoying amount of questions, but everyone I've talked to, both on the phone and in person, has been SO, so kind and extremely patient & helpful.
The whole process was quick and easy. You have to drop your pet off because of Covid, but Dr. Howes called me during the exam to ask some questions and explain what they were going to do and why, and it was very obvious that she cared a lot. And they gave him an adorable little goodie bag when I picked him up: ')
I'm so grateful for everyone's help, and my little guy is doing really well! I will definitely continue to take him here for care.

Our dog and cat have, to the best of our knowledge, received good care here. The staff are always friendly and helpful when you finally reach them. Unfortunately, the staff is stretched very thin, usually resulting in long waits for any service. We have had a little difficulty coordinating between the staff and their contracted online pharmacy.

Very nice Doctor Sun. She actually took her time and explained everything she did and gave me some wonderful tips on how to care for my pet. She didn’t try and give me anything extra just to charge me.
I will definitely be going back.

Dr Wong helped me a lot with my sick pet. She was so kind and willing to help me with my pet's incurable ailment. Thank you for being a light in the dark

They have ALWAYS helped every pet I've brought here with exceptional care and kindness everyone on staff here throughout the years have always been helpful and amazing I've never had a bad experience with them

I love the heroes of the Foothill V. C. A. My first visit was a somber one, saying goodbye to a very young kitten. They were so kind to me and my poor girl. My boy kitten is happy and healthy thanks, in part, to they're compassionate, thoughtful and expert staff.

Clean and efficiency. The vet I was assigned to was sweet and patient. Will definitely go back.

Been taking our family animals here for many years now and they've always been very helpful and responsive to our animal's needs

The vets are great. When i had to put my dog to sleep they treated me and her with extreme care and were very sympathetic. Somewhat pricey.

Have taken our two dogs here for years. Wife and I are in healthcare, and are very pleased with care of our animals. We had to have our German Shepherd put to sleep and the staff and Dr.were very kind and loving. All the docs have been excellent! Highly recommend Foothill Vet. If possible get there right at 730am when they open and wait won't be long. Then your done early. Woof!

This place is totally a fraud, Dr. Wong took X ray for my kitten, and said nothing important. And then did nothing. My kitten still can't poop. It did work at all to see a doctor. And it cost me 400 dollars. They have no conscience at all

Told us we could walk in for an appt but we had to wait almost an hour. We've been patrons over 10 years & never had to wait so long. The veterinarians are patient & informative but seems to rush & part of their objective was to push the insurance plan. Since becoming VCA this place has not been as pleasant.

Best animal hospital in California, I always take my dogs service is fast customer service is great

Great staff and vet. Our new kitten received great care. My daughter had fun befriending all the animals being cared for.

We love Dr. Andrews and Dr. Howes! Both are experienced, bright and very compassionate. They've taken great care of our 20-year-old cat since we moved to Pasadena several years ago. The front office staff and other vets are also very friendly and professional. Reasonably priced and a good amount of parking. Also, they run on a mostly walk-in basis (except for things like surgery).

Highly recommend!
