VCA Grossmont Animal Hospital

First off I wanna start by saying I love this place and my dog loves coming here and seeing everybody that works here but I just felt it was necessary to say something after today. Everybody is usually very nice and seems like they enjoy being there except for the girl with the lip piercing at the front desk. Everything I said to her was met with attitude. Got a whole bunch of side eye when my dog was whining like she doesn’t know she works in a place where there are dogs. Dogs bark. If it bothers you that much, get a different job. No complaints about anybody or anything else. Just felt it was necessary to put out there so maybe she can get her attitude in check if she’s gonna be working front desk and talking to people.

We truly enjoy bringing our fur baby Onyx here. She loves the staff, they are very gentle with her. The treatment plans are never pushed on us and the Vets always do their best to stress the most important health issues. We don't mind driving from Hemet to this location. Thank you for all that you ladies do for our Onyx!

Great experience! I was very nervous for my dog to get neutered, but I knew it had to be done. Dr. Avon and staff were friendly and accommodating, I appreciated the time Dr. Avon took examining my Bella and making sure all my questions were answered. The surgery for my dog went smooth, she didn’t seem to be in any pain at all, in-fact she wanted to play when I took her home, she had a smooth recovery. I highly recommend the doctor and staff. Thank you.

The office staff was very nice. They listened and were attentive. Unfortunately, the vet didn't have a diagnosis for my dog. But sent us home with antibiotics and ointment. I like that they do a write-up of all the meds and supplies they think you need. Then you can agree or not to their quote. I saved myself $160. Taking off items I could get cheaper elsewhere. The vet techs were super nice and helpful. My girl did not like hanging in the crate in the back, waiting on the doc. So they put us in a room so she wasn't so upset. I will go back if I have any other problems. FYI, if you don't go early, you may not get in. I got there a little before 10 am, when they opened. I was 4th in line. And heard the front desk gal say there would be a wait list after the 2 people after me.
The facility was clean, and that made a difference to me.

Great staff. Friendly and empathetic. Good animal care. Understanding of budgets vs options. Recommend. Our senior doggie is a customer.

Lady that answers the phone is extremely incompetent and tries to make excuses to not do her job and keeps trying to get us to go elsewhere for our dogs medication. She flat out refused to call her manager so we could get an estimate on when our prescription would be ready and keeps trying to redirect us to order from chewies. Avoid this clinic if you can - they don’t care at all about the well-being of your pets. Every time we have came in or had questions the lady has been rude and dismissive. Seriously go anywhere but here

The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The vet was knowledgeable, patient, and respected our constraints and wishes with a dying cat.

Dr. Avon is super kind and knowledgeable. She is always compassionate and never makes you feel rushed or that she isn't paying attention to you and your pets needs.

Staff is super friendly and our vet knows her stuff. Would definitely recommend. No walk-ins but great for routine checks and vaccines.

Great hospital for routine pet needs. Corporate owned but has a comfortable community feel. Recommended!

They know my dog by name. When she got seriously hurt they were there for her and I the entire time. They have even followed up to make sure she’s ok after recovery. This is the only vet for me. Thanks Taylor and team!

The team at VCA Grossmont is amazing. They've taken care of family pets with varying issues for years.

I took my dog here yesterday as it’s the first place that pulls up when searching emergency vet near me, there were ZERO people in the lobby, I walked in told them something was very wrong with my dog, they asked me if I had an appointment, I said no, should you have one for an emergency, anyway, they turned me away. I luckily got her someplace in time, she’s still in ICU as her blood levels are very low. Do not go here!

The customer service is amazing. My co-worker recommended this place. I will utilize it in the future
