VCA Marina Bay Cities Animal Hospital reviews
17Dr. Elliott is the best cat vet! We have been taking our cats to him for over 10 years at VCA Marina. Great animal care, organized, cost transparent, and clean. The front desk staff is lovely too.
Gave price. 100-300.00. Charged 325.00. Didn’t do any of service they said for 300.00.
Took average of the death….
I had a really good experience here! They took very good care of my kitty while she got spayed and patiently walked me through all the aftercare steps. They kept me informed as she was recovering, as well. Highly recommend!
This VCA is run like a 3rd world country. They can't seem to complete the simplest task correctly. The Doctors seem to care but the administrative support is horrible and in many cases they are extremely dismissive. If you love your pet find another vet.
You can trust your pet will be treated with kindness & the best care by an extremely compassionate staff of doctors. Since my first pets’ visit (over 40 years ago!) and the MANY more pets that followed I’ve never needed to go anywhere else. Nobody’s better than Doctor Thatcher, Dr Elliot & entire Veterinarian staff. They alway give their very best. What more can we hope for?
Worst service ever. One time I waited 2 hours for my dog to be seen. Second time, I arrived 4 minutes late to the appointment and I was trying to check in for 15 minutes. They hang out multiple times. Then when I finally pick up the phone they said that I was too late, it was my fault that 15 minutes have gone by and the vet went home. So, don’t bring your dog here. It is big corporation and they don’t care about tour pet. Cancelled my membership.
DO NOT BOARD YOUR CAT HERE. I thought my cat would be safest at a vet facility, but instead he ended up with an accident so bad they had to declaw one of his toes. They communicated poorly with me and each other and made the whole process a nightmare. We cut our trip short and we will never be going back. Highly recommend you don’t either.
The doctor was good but it’s impossible to talk to her over the phone if needed and the rest of the personal have zero tolerance and willingness to help.
If I could give VCA no stars, I would.
I took my dog here 3 times for the same concern and was dismissed every time - eventually they took me seriously and wanted to charge $1000 for x rays and keep him in a cage whilst they dealt with more patients because it was ‘easier for them’
Absolutely no care shown to animals - no respect to parents and horrendous sanitary conditions.
If you love your pet, do not take them here
Very happy to have this place as my vet for my dog. People at the desk are always sooo kind and helpful, and all the vets seem very competent, nice, and willing to take their time to answer my questions.
Love this place. Since the pandemic, it has been really hard to find a vet. Lots of them patient list closed or very long wait for the appointment. But here is close to where I live, got an appointment within 2 weeks and the best of all, the price here is much more reasonable. Highly recommended
Showed up for my appointment about 3 minutes late due to the tremendous amount of traffic that builds up around the area. Receptionist told me to sit and wait to check-in. Once she called me up, she stated it was after the 10 minute grace period and she had to check-in with the doctor which basically means you must reschedule. With a system like that in place, it is designed to be a flawed process. Very disappointing that you treat your customers like this. Shows you really do not care at all about the pet that is needing attention and not just a routine visit. Shame on you
Went in to get rabies shots and heartwork meds. They said they call the next day. It's been weeks. They don't answer their phone. It's almost a game to me on how long everyday I can wait on hold and no human answers.
This office is disorganized and does not manage records effectively. I brought my dog here for a booster shot, and they gave him a completely different vaccine. He had to restart the whole sequence over because they gave the wrong shot!
They did a heartworm test in November, and for some reason it’s not in their records, so I received a reminder postcard that it was overdue only 6 months later. When I called, the receptionist said that this was typically done every year.
The vets themselves here are very nice and seem to know their stuff. It’s unfortunate that the office staff can’t stay on top of maintaining accurate records.
I edited the post as i got a little bit mad due to the attitude front desk ladies have shown towards me.
But i can’t say the same of Dr Tatcher and Dr Elliot but it took me months ro be able to get an appointment with them, they always recommend you the less experienced just graduated doctors first. So i just wanted to clarify that.
Taking my per to another vet
Finally got the treatment my dog needed (Bronchitis) thanks to Dr Elliot.
I vow to never step foot in here again. They raised their prices astronomically and make a mistake EVERY time I walk through the door. For about two months someone posted a sign that VCA LOST their kitten by mistake. A tech let it run out the back door and it never came back? There was a time when they were good here but those days are over. You've been warned, its an over priced, poorly run clinic at this point.
My Dog loves his Vet, Dr. Kevin McEvilly, DVM! He loves the staff too. Great friendly staff, always friendly, happy to see my pup and very happy with his Vet too. I love that Dr. McEvilly takes the time to cover important preventative basics - things I can do now to ensure a healthier life for my pup down the road!
