VCA Oakwood Animal Hospital reviews
18 Only went to VCA Pet Hospital to have my 12 year old dog cremated, he had passed away early that morning in his sleep.
So
There use to be a place in Lodi but they had permanently closed
We found a stray dog and took him to this vet, they were really helpful. They wanded him for a chip and contacted his owner. All the staff were very nice and accommodating. I really liked the way they handled the pets that came in.
Love Dr. O, but cannot afford these prices. I'm upset that my $2600-$3300 quote for dental extraction was priced at Cherokee Vet for $719! I feel very taken advantage of by VCA.
Dr Lindsey and the team are amazing! Helpful kind and friendly we drove from Roseville to Lodi to see them!
Absolutely love this place- took my fur baby girls to their appointments today and very very satisfied with Dr Lindsey and his front office staff- they are awesome - thank you for always taking great care of them-
It took some doing and a lot of calling but I finally called early enough to get Bella in. All the staff people were so nice and I love Dr. O. I was so worried and she explained everything so I understood. Bella is back to her old (10yro) b self now. Thank you VCA Oakwood!
I used to only come to VCA because I thought it was the best place for my pets but my recent experience proves that’s not the case. I came late to my appointment so I am to blame but when I asked a question the receptionist answered rudely. I let her know I was just wondering but that I understood how it was my fault. I proceeded to cancel my next appointment through the app and leave as I work two full-time jobs and prefer to bring my dogs at the same time. She then called me after to ask if I was still there I told her I cancelled through the app and and she proceeded to tell me those appointments could’ve been for an emergency and I know she did it to be rude. The reason I know is that I have called during emergencies for my dogs and was told they couldn’t see my dogs until three weeks and that to me doesn’t seem like a reasonable waiting period for an EMERGENCY. We should all learn to be professional.
Always a pleasant experience coming here. Staff and veterinarians are very kind and polite. The only downside is that they are very popular and it normally takes a few weeks to get an appointment.
I have two Boston Terriers that I've been taking to VCA in Woodbridge for several years. They are very professional and super helpful! I especially like Dr. 's Lyndsay and Vu.
This is our family vet. Friendly and caring staff. The prices are high bit the service you get is worth it.
They where amazing they we able to get my dog in and treat her for her infection the staff is friendly and amazing.
This VCA animal hospital has veterinary doctors and techs I can respect and a staff that is courteous and cheerful. They handle all kinds of animals. They offer prescription food, oravet dental hygiene chews for dog and the best candles for pet odors I have ever come across. Seriously, you need to try the candles even if you don't own pets! Update: staff has changed and candle selection is limited. Hours are limited and appointment time was a big slag. 25 minutes after appointment time before we we're admitted. Comunication between back and front office was poor with no purpose to clear line of communication and expedance of back log of cases. We we're told to wait in exam room for supplies. Two minutes later someone else ask us to leave to front of the office. They must have more appointments than they care to give personal care too. Fifteen minutes later we pay our bills and try to get out but the one open exit is blocked by staff and inconsiderate pet owners. Needs to improve the process to get my five stars back.
This place is great, they great both of our cats, and were wonderful when we started to lose our Zoey to heart failure.
I absolutely Love VCA Veterinary great staff friendly, understanding, knowledgeable and most importantly everyone Love our little 4 leg family members. THANK YOU for Taking such a great care of my baby Zena
Can not say enough wonderful things about the entire staff that helped us during the most difficult time having to put our beloved Molly girl to rest. From the very first phone call to the final moments, everyone was extremely compassionate and patient with us. Highly recommend this business for your furry family members.
I took my 12.5 year old lab here with the hope he would recover, but realization he may not. I trusted the vet would make recommendations based on my dogs best interest. 1000 dollars later my dog was worse than when I dropped him off. I could have understood it was just his time but D.rVu gave me false hope he would recover. In my grief and worry I needed a vet to tell me it is time, not give me false hope antibiotics could fix what was obviously terminal. She let me take him home with labored breathing and pain in his eyes. That morning when I dropped him off was the last time I saw him happy. Getting him home i realized they should have suggested putting him to sleep, not taking him home. He was in so much pain. I took him to emergency and the vet there suggested euthanization. Do not take you dog to Dr. Vu if you want an honest recommendation for an ailing pet. VCA, please do not bother responding to review. It won't help me now. Its just another way you heartlessly try to make more revenue. My dog suffered all day and she said he was morealert. I dont think she really paid much attention to him.
I took my pet in with concern of change in his bowel movement habits but the doctor checked him, gave him a clean bill of health and his bowel habits went back to normal a few days later. The staff was very knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions as well as the doctor.
Dr. Lindsey is so kind and compassionate, even my frightened little female let's him do anything. All the girls in the front always find a way to get me in if I have a emergency. The best Veterinary Clinic by far!
