My vet was amazing. She went above and beyond to help me and my pet. They accept care credit and make paying very accessible. However, this is one of the most expensive practices I’ve visited. For exams alone, I spent more than $1,000.00. To keep my pet for 24 hours, their estimate was about $5,000.00-$10,000.00. Unfortunately, this price range was too high for me and I had to take my kitten home.

PROS:
-amazing vets that really care about your pet and that are very knowledgeable
-nice office
-location next to metrolink train
-has a bus drop off
-24 hr location
-good parking
-very clean

CONS:
-prices are on the higher side because this is an emergency vet
-might have to wait a while
-the prices for services are presented on a scale that's not concrete until the end of visit

This place tried charging me $13,000+ for an emergency c-section for a Rottweiler. After calling other VCAs I was getting a similar price some a little cheaper some a little more! Then I called the Orange County Emergency Pet Clinic (12750 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92843). They quoted me $4200 for the C-section and waived the diagnosis fee because we already knew what was wrong. They even gave me money back because they didn't need to use every treatment step that was recommended for the c section! They saved my dogs life, please be nice to these people when you go. I know your pet's situation is stressful so don't waste your time or money going here, go to the place I recommend & please be kind to the wonderful people at OCEPT.

Some of the people at this VCA where nice enough to recommend other places & I really do appreciate them but I can't give this place anything over 1 star if they are going to charge $8,000 - $10,000 more than other places to do they same exact procedure. In my eyes it's a form of cruilty because it prays on people and animals in need for money. It's not the fault of the people who work there it is the fault of the person (s) who own this cash grab.

We took our furbaby Bentley in July. As he was having multiple seizures. Dr. Gary & all of the other doctors & staff showed a lot of sympathy, concern. We are forever greatful to all of you. Because of your dedication, our Bentley has been home.

Sincerely

Bentley & The Aguilar Family

Unfortunately, I have been here a few times with a cat. The doctors and the staff are great. It is just so expensive! Of course, it is an ER and so depending on how urgent the situation is, you might need to be prepared to wait. I have the utmost trust in the care we receive here. I am so grateful.

We want to thank the doctors and the staff for taking care of our baby girl Coco when she was so sick. Unfortunately, she crossed over the rainbow bridge but she wasn’t alone. They held onto her and they loved her for us since we were so far away. I will be forever grateful for their love and support.

They took my dog to the back immediately. No one else there. Said there was no wait.after 4.5 hours of waiting, Vet ran in and apologized and said he just got there and said there was a “communication problem. ” Said my dog was just sitting in back the whole time. Didn’t do much and prescribed “doggie advil. ” Waited another hour and a half for my dog and meds and nothing. Told them I wanted my dog and to leave. They brought my dog out and said meds would be two more minutes. Nope. Nothing. I finally left. They charged my card for exam I didn’t get snd meds I didn’t get. Other than that it was fine NOT!

This VCA was the only hospital willing to talk to me about getting a CT scan for my cat. I am a GP veterinarian and when I needed an internal medicine consult they were very accommodating and extremely nice when I came in for the visit. If I am ever in need of advanced diagnostics I will gladly make the drive to Tustin for this clinic

Sadly we had to bring our Shih Tzu Lexi into Tustin on 07/19/23 due to discovery of blood in her urine after our Yorba Linda VCA referred her there.

Dr. Mochizuki was assigned to Lexi and after a very thorough exam and x-rays discovered she had a bladder rupture, possible kidney stones, masses on both Adrenal glands and another unknown mass between her abdomen and bladder.

Dr. Mochizuki laid everything out for us and most importantly kept Lexi as comfortable as possible while trying everything to save her life.

As the day wore on it was obvious Lexi was not responding as hoped and Dr. Mochizuki gave us our options from surgery, palliative care and ending her suffering at which time she gave us exceptional support all the way through that agonizing process.

She let us spend as much time as we needed with Lexi during her treatments that honestly I believe eased her suffering somewhat and allowed us to make a extremely painful decision with a clear heart and mind.

Lexi passed away peacefully with us holding her and Dr. Mochizuki was there every step of the way to ensure it was handled with care, grace and compassion.

Dr. Mochizuki is diligent, thorough, kind, compassionate and an exceptional human being with a divine gift for treating our fur babies and their families during their most difficult times.

Im thankful she was the one treating our Lexi as she made her way to and across the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you to VCA Tustin for taking great care of our dog and taking care of us as Pet Parents as she transitioned.

I wish there was a negative star review. I came to this Pet Clinic trying to save a poor kittens life with in about 20 to 30 minutes the bill went from $1,000 to 3000 to 3500 to $4,000+ this place is a giant rip off it cost me $1,200 to put a kitten down partially my fault cuz I couldn't afford to keep it in the hospital for 3 or 4 days.way way to expensive.this place will take every last penny you have

I definitely would recommend this place for your pets. I took my pup here about a month ago over the weekend. What I thought would be a quick visit, turned into my pup being hospitalized for 3 days. The staff was incredibly kind and patient with my dog and I. My dog is a highly anxious dog, and the staff did really well with her. They encouraged/allowed me to call and text them throughout the day to check on her, and they also had visiting hours; all of which I greatly appreciated.

Andrea McDooling BVSc, MS, DACVIM, was the veterinarian who primarily oversaw my dog’s care. I had the pleasure of meeting her in person. She was very kind, and had the best bedside manner I have seen! She never pushed me to run “extra” tests, rather educated me and guided me throughout my pup’s stay. I’m happy to say my dog is doing really well now!

The staff here are so incredibly kind and knowledgeable. They do a great job of explaining things in a way that’s understandable, and helped me decide on the best course of immediate treatment based on my budget. If you have a pet emergency, this is the place to go.

Thank you for your compassion and kindness as my dear cat in her final days. From Kaitlan in reception, to the technician Chris and Dr. Uyeno they were professional and fully invested in her and my well being.

Wow! What an awesome facility and staff. Our dog, Della, was on the last hours of her life. The staff there treated her and myself with the utmost compassion and honesty. I would only take our furry companions her in the Orange County area. We drove 40 miles to help make our family members last hours peaceful and calm. Thank you VCA! Dr. Simmons was the most honest coolest Vet that we could have worked with. Give that guy a raise! Thank you again for helping us through one of the saddest days of our lives.

Wow this place does not care about your pet. If you have an emergency situation go elsewhere they will not help. Stay away from here.
