27I take my dog here for the general practice service to see Dr. Hobbs. He's a senior dog with multiple health issues. She takes her time, listens and always give me options in regards to his care. It is also a specialty hospital that offers more focused care if needed. Knock on wood, I haven't needed any specialized services but I do plan on taking him in to see the physical therapist for his osteoarthritis.

Dr. Buote is now the Chief of Surgery for VCA at this location.
In 2009, before joining VCA, Dr. Buote provided emergency surgery for my dog who had a twisted spleen. Dr. Buote saved her life. We did not get to meet with her before surgery but after surgery Dr. Buote gave me her personal email address and helped me through the healing process and was able to answer any questions that I had.
First-class facility with amazing doctors and staff. I feel like I'm doing the best for my cats when I bring them here to Dr. Kaplan. They have experts in their field, including a board-certified radiologist who looks at each x-ray. It may cost more, but you get good answers the first time. The hours are great too, especially for someone who works a day job and needs evening appointments. The 24 hour emergency service here is also top notch.
Doc Ledesma is the best! So helpful and empathetic. We're so happy to say that our puppy of three months has made it through the night and is doing great, breathing, and trying to move already
My dog had a health scare while we were traveling thru SoCal and West LA VCA was able to get him in quickly for surgery. Both Drs. Hazzah and Buote were friendly, professional and extraordinarily capable. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!
My dog had a dental and 8 small masses removed and 1 revision on one of the masses to take larger margins. This cost over $5,300. Seriously? Total rip off.
