Dr. Koo is such a pleasure to work with. She is entirely professional, efficient, capable, and has such a pleasant personality. She explained everything in as much detail as I needed and made the procedures feel effortless. Her entire staff is the same. My concerns were heard and the process well communicated every step of the way. I was expecting this to be painful and taxing but it wasn't at all, I was able to resume a regular daily routine (with very minor exceptions, per aftercare instructions) with no down time. From my initial contact via Zocdoc, I was scheduled for a consult within two weeks and was able to be seen in the late afternoons, a welcome detail for those who work. Each visit was incredibly fast, but I also got the "bedside" care I needed in each visit. Dr. Koo is clearly an expert in her field and knows how to get right to work. Thank you to Dr. Koo and staff for making this a great experience, I highly recommend.

I went to Dr Koo to find out how my legs could look and feel better as I was experiencing a heaviness and tightness in them and they had started to change how they looked. Very swollen and veiny.
She was amazing in actually addressing the root cause of this problem and treating it with state of the art science. Before long my legs felt lighter and looked better. I was able to walk more normally and had more mobility in the legs than I have had in a long time. Walking down steps was easier! The treatment was quick and easy with very little discomfort. The entire staff is wonderful and informative. The aftercare was easy with no discomfort except for a little bruising after. If you are having vein issues I highly recommend checking out Dr. Koo at the Vein Treatment Center. Im so happy I did!

Look no further for your varicose and spider vein treatment needs. Dr. Koo has been fantastic to work with. I have been dealing with vein issues (mostly wanting to get rid of unsightly spider veins) for years now. Everyone I went to see would either just do some minor schlerotherapy or would only treat the “main” veins saying that that would take care of the spider veins. While sometimes it did, it never failed that new spider veins would form and pop up in a different spot a few months later. I honestly thought I would be dealing with this the rest of my life. Enter Dr. Koo. She is so meticulous and detail oriented that I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel of my vein treatment journey. She goes after all the veins, closing down even the smallest of veins that other doctors always overlooked (or didn’t have a steady enough hand to hit) but actually were contributing to the problem. She treats the root of the problem rather than just quick fix cosmetic veins. She always follows up with you after treatments and is very accessible via text throughout your entire journey should you have any questions. My legs have never looked more clear and I am so happy with my results thus far. Thank you Dr. Koo!

A year ago I started to experience pain in both of my legs. It got to the point where sitting would be painful as well as walking. At night trying to sleep was the worse. The pain in my legs made going to sleep and staying asleep impossible. My legs were very heavy and getting up from a sitting position was almost impossible without help. I found Dr Koo one night while on line and asked for more information. The best decision I ever made. She literally gave me back my life. From the first procedure I noticed a difference. Now I’m nearing the end and I can walk, climb stairs, get up by myself. I highly recommend Dr. Koo and her wonderful staff. Don’t put it off- you will be so happy with the results.

Challenging journey. I would recommend getting more than one opinion before starting. I’ve had ongoing treatment for 3 years. Initial issue I came in for (1 varicose vein) has required dozens of appointments. Because of how my Aetna insurance works, months of treating other veins were needed before getting to the varicose vein that was problematic. Can't fault clinic for insurance hoops. Dr Koo and staff seem knowledgeable and are kind/respectful. I've experienced some communication challenges. One was related to leg swelling and how varicose issues relate/don't relate to edema. I thought swelling got worse over time and continued vein treatment would help but that doesn't seem to be the case. Second issue was getting billing issue resolved. I was eventually issued $600 refund by vein clinic but it took months and dozens of phone calls (tip: 3-way call with insurance and Vein Treatment Clinic billing dept.eventually helped. I'd just start with 3-way call if you have issues). Overall, 4 stars for medical care, 2 stars for communication challenges. I don't regret choosing the treatments, just be aware that it may be a lot more involved than it seems at first.

Dr. Koo is fantastic. She has genuine care for her patients and has such attention to detail. She didn’t stop until I was completely satisfied with the feel and look of my legs. Her staff is extremely kind and helpful too. Would recommend this office to anyone looking to have a vein procedure done.

I chose Dr. Koo after studying every Vein doctor in the southern California area and she had the best accomplishments and reviews. I wanted to get rid of my ugly spider veins behind my knees, mainly. But fortunately, for me, vshe found many leaking veins that could cause blood clots in my legs and started the medical procedure to fix this complication. Which she also treated my spider veins after this procedure. I am very happy with the results so far. I still have a ways to go but by summer, I'll be ready, for the first time in over 30 years, to happily wear shorts and a bathing suit AGAIN! Take my word for it! Do NOT go to anyone else if you want real results! I am so very glad I found her. She is very caring and is the best! No joke! I will continue with her as long as I can and need to.

Dr. Koo is very detail oriented and a vein busting perfectionist. She always tells me I am one of her difficult cases because I’m light skinned with a lot of blue/purple veins. Thanks to her my legs are looking less veiny and for once in my life I’m ready to bare my legs this Summer without any cover up. I’m very glad I worked with her, I highly recommend her, if she was able to treat my veins she can definitely do wonders for anyone.
