Was helped by a lovely dude here when renting wetsuit and surfboard. Sorry but I forgot his name (young black guy- super nice dude, my rental was on 31 October if that helps). Anyway he took a lot of time picking a board with me- he was really helpful, and he was genuinely stoked for me when I said I had a fun day. Would highly recommend

Beware- inside job by employee (bike stolen)

I wouldn't recommend this place.
We rented 4 bikes one had a wagon from another location on washington for my daughter. While renting an employee was hangout with another male. Didnt think anything of it. As we went along the beach towards the Santa Monica pier I notice the same guy from rental place was in the same area we had stop at along the way. We stop at Santa Monica pier the bikes were locked up. After returning from boardwalk the bike/ wagon was gone lock was cut. We returned to the rental place to show the bike was stolen. They charge us 611.00 the wagon was not in good condition. Also claimed the bike was new all of a sudden SMH My husband tried to see if they could work on price nothing was done. Heart breaking to have this happen on a vacation. This really made our day go from a great day to the worse. SO MAKE SURE WHO YOU ARE DOING BUSINESS WITH. Out of 4 bikes only one was stolen with the wagon. I WOULD NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE ESPECIALLY IF YOUR NOT FROM CALI.

The bike was good but the staff was rude & didn't help with finding a decent helmet
