Venice Beach Skatepark reviews
14Cool street vibes. Some skaters are extraordinarily good. I never skated in my life and it made me want to try! Check this place out at all costs!
Cool skatepark with amazing landscape design! Skaters are from all levels, but they're all very supportive of each other. It's also good for photography too!
Fun iconic skate park. Easy to get to. Right on the beach with great views of the ocean. Fun environment. Everyone seemed friendly and having a good time.
Fun pilgrimage by now for skaters (skater at heart).
Great condition, good vibes, good ground/pavement.
Endless sunsets.
It's fun just to go see them, but if you've ever skied at a park, it's definitely more fun to ski! The park itself is a tourist attraction, so if you make a mistake in the big pool, there are a lot of people watching, and your board will fly off, causing an accident. You have to learn the rules by watching how the loco slides, and you need to communicate, but once you step in, you'll never forget the pleasure. It becomes a thing. There are many people who have sponsored contracts, so it's great to be able to see the pros skating up close! It looks best at sunset, so if you're going to Venice Beach, you should definitely go! *There are many pickpockets, so if you are carrying a bag, do not place it carelessly and keep it facing your stomach.
I had a gr8 time guys - thx 4 the inv Super chill vibe, talent everywhere. Looking to film? Come at these guys
I recommend walking from muscle beach to the Santa Monica pier, there are scooter and bike rentals.
This is definitely an iconic location for skateboarding. A good place to watch people doing such sport. They are awesome and capable, managing to avoid each other and impressing their surrounding viewers. The location is great and relaxing, just close to the beach. This place is worth a visit.
Fun place to visit for watching skateboarders of varying skills doing their thing. There were more people watching the skateboarders than the skateboarders themselves. I recommend visiting after 15: 30 when the heat drops. It is a pretty windy place so bringing a jacket is a good idea.
Really nice skate park right on the boardwalk of Venice Beach, small medium and large pool
Probably the most famous skate park in the world for those who do not practice the sport. Right off the boardwalk.
Pros: if you are lucky, you can probably see some of what the most experienced people in the area can do with a skate under their feet. There is even an area for watchers that is separated from people who is actually practicing so that you do not interrupt them, and you stay safe.
Cons: It is not really clean, and there are some characters walking around. Watch your belongings.
There is a lot going on at the weekend and less during the week. We liked both. A very great atmosphere, really pleasant. Spent several hours in this place
Amazing place! Skating in front of the sea is magic! The Park is in good condition, great atmosphere and riders have great skills!
Really cool place and it was awesome to see so many talented skaters
The surround are is also really cool and best see on a bicycle or scooter
