Venice Beach Wines, Los Angeles CA

Not sure what to write here. In my opinion everything about VBW is average. The service was ok, the wines I had (skin contact) were good, but not spectacular, the price quality ratio was good. So a nice place if you’re looking for something casual.

Enjoyed the wine flight, spiced almonds and artichoke. Nice ambiance, kind staff, tasty food and great experience! Do try!

Pretty nice spot to get wine samples and some small plates. We sat outside at some high tops for better convo so we could hear each other better. Tried two wines from California, and 1 from Argentina and one from Chile from the flight.
Street metered parking or parking lot. Busy-popping area for a date night.

Had a fantastic experience here the other night. The charcuterie board was delicious and had excellent sides to pair. The wine flight was unique and paired well with our cheese and meat selection.

Wonderful local spot with great food and wine. It’s also a wine shop! The take away charcuterie boxes and a bottle of wine are a great idea for a beach picnic or date night.

Good vibes, people, service and of course a great collection of wine. We had the mushroom pizza as well, which was really so so good - high praise coming from a meat eater

Food and wine were amazing, great selection of both, we tried a bunch of stuff and it was all great and our server was awesome!

We had dinner and a bottle of wine. The food was quite good (and unlike many restaurants, the serving size was reasonable - food for one not two or three!). The server was knowledgeable about the wine list, and the prices for the wines were good (for restaurant pricing, anyway).

Only problem is that the tables were small (I suspect most customers have drinks and appetizers only), and the chairs are not especially comfortable. Nevertheless, we enjoyed eating al fresco, and we'll be back again!

Came here for wine tasting. They had a flight of selected wines that you can order. 4/5 of the wines were really good. We also ordered the grill steak with salad and grill veggies and that was very good. The carrots though seemed from a bag already cut not the best. I prefer the real carrots cut into pieces and grilled. I felt that the carrots they had were the ones you serve at a school lunch. Not as fancy for a winery. Other than that the place was very cozy in a fun location off Rose avenue. Dim lighting and you can sit outside. They have heat lamps which was nice. Serves were attentive and quick to greet you and take your order. I'll definitely return.

Big fan of their wine flight and mulled wine. Lots of outdoor seating with strong heat lamps.

They encouraged us to order wine (apparently) five minutes before closing and then kicked us out. ?

It's a great place but their hours are wrong. I called and they said they are open till 11 I Get there at 9 and they already did last call

They have the best Pinot Gris! I had dates with bacon, duck rillet and sautéed veggies. Perfection! Staff is friendly and accommodating, relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Will be back.

Decent place. Proper pints. Chips means chips, not fries lol. Bit noisy since it's on rose. Great veggie burger (not beyond meat or impossible). Great service.

Eating there was really nice in their outdoor area. One time I ordered delivery tho and it was a mess. I recommend eating there on the romantic patio on a nice date.

Be sure to get your bottles of wine at the bar, put ice in a bucket and settle in for a great time.

Had a great experience at Firefly. I had an important business meeting here with a few others and we were treated perfectly. The food was tasty and was of high quality. I would recommend this place to anyone.
