I have a great experience buying a used car from Venice Motors.
After months of searching for 3 Gen Mercedes benz ML350 bluetec, I came across the listing from Venice Motors via Cargurus.
I called the dealer and spoke with Tim on Thursday afternoon, asking about the vehicle and he delegently answer all my queries honestly.
I did all my research for this model and I feel very confident about this listing so I Immediately set up to see the Car that Saturday and told Tim I live like 400miles away.
When I get to the dealer, Tim show me the Car with little imperfection here and there but overall is what they advertised.
I test drive the car and Tim told me "take your time" and I took almost 45min.
This car is what I expected so I made a deal.
The whole process is quick, very straightforward, I feel no pressure and there pricing is transparent.

I had a great experience buying a used car from them. They were easy to communicate with and friendly. My partner and I were able to do a test drive on our own, without any pressure from someone riding along with us. And after our test drive we didn't receive any annoying calls or emails like you get with some other dealers. All the costs were very straightforward with no surprises. As a bonus, the car was fully charged the day we picked it up.

The place has nice used cars. They don’t pester you. The hand you the keys and say “go test it for yourself”. They don’t hide anything. What you see is what you get. Tim and I caught a tire that needed a repair but instead he got me new tires. They are very fair! If you want to look at great cars with no pressure, this is the place to go. And they are not fixed on prices. Five stars for my experience.

Honest, trustworthy dealer is a rare thing these days. They are communicative and through. They explained everything clearly and direct. The vehicle selection is good and the vehicles they have are very clean. I definitely would recommend.

Bought my I3 through these guys, met with Gokhan who was great, not like going to a big dealer thank god, paid the price as advertised (A good price) and no hidden fees or dealer tricks you typically get. So would recommend these guys they seem very honest and reliable. He also followed up with after sales support when I wanted to add Car play to my BMW and on EV credit details.

Purchased: 2003 MBZ - SL500 Roadster: I'd like to start by saying that this is one of the best experiences I have ever had purchasing a vehicle, and that really is saying something. This is the 37th vehicle that I have purchased in my lifetime and the first time I have ever purchase or lease from a dealer who is not affiliated with a major manufacturer.
You hear horror stories about small independent dealerships like this but the people who are working at Venice Motors are really going out of their way to make sure that stigma and prejudice are things of the past. I live 120 miles away from this dealership, so everything had to be done over text, e-mail and by phone right up until the moment I signed the actual paperwork.
Mr. Jason Klein went out of his way to make sure that all of my questions were answered, any extra photos I would want were taken and sent to me, a walk-around video was offered as well AND he volunteered any discrepancy or noticeable item either not working or missing on the vehicle well before I came in to see it in person for the first time. Jason made absolutely sure that everything was transparent, honest and he never offered more than what he could deliver. The gentleman who helped us sign the paperwork, Tim, was as equally helpful and patient as we went over paperwork, continued to ask questions and for clarifications, and finished the day with the ever present “…is there anything else I can help you with”?
I sincerely hope this 20-year-old classic with a low 72,000 miles goes another 20 years and another 72,000 miles. Given the service history provided from all the previous owners, and the updated paperwork with what Venice Motors personally did or had done as a dealership, gave me the confidence to purchase this vehicle and feel secure with the choice. They were more than accommodating with me being out of town, my bank being out of state, and cognizant of the fact that this was a one-time trip. So, everything had to be spot-on and as we agreed to in previous conversations. The car is an incredible example of the finest engineering the industry has to offer, and Venice Motors has exceeded my expectations with their services.

The process was stress free and pleasant. Most of all, I felt comfortable and loved the flexibility they provided to work around my schedule. Very positive experience dealing with Venice Motors in Santa Monica, CA. I saw an offering from Venice Motors for a 2012 BMW X5 with relatively low miles and appearing to be in good condition last Friday morning. I spent Friday morning and afternoon researching the vehicle for sale, and more importantly, Venice Motors itself, by reading Google and Yelp user reviews. I was impressed with it's overall rating of 4.9 out 5 stars, which is rare for small independent auto dealerships, or for even large corporate auto dealerships.

I called Venice Motors and spoke with Jason, one of the owners of Venice Motors, and made arrangements to come out to see the X5 the next day. Jason sent me a link to view even more photos of the X5, as well as the Carfax. Since I live over 100 miles away, I told Jason I would be taking Amtrak into downtown Los Angeles and would hire a rideshare to his dealership (about 15 miles away). However, Jason met me at the train station Saturday morning with the X5, which gave me an opportunity to gauge the car's ride as we drove back to the dealership.

After we arrived at Venice Motors, Jason answered every question I had about the vehicle's history to the best of his knowledge and allowed me to read the car's OBD port to check for engine codes and emissions monitors. Even though we had an long test ride back to the dealership, I was still able to take the car for an extensive test drive unlimited by time or distance, another rare feature for independent dealerships. Venice Motors advertises as a BMW enthusiast dealership and that was proven out by Jason's knowledge of the brand discussed during the test drive. After returning to Venice Motors I was sufficiently impressed to make the deal to purchase the X5.

All throughout the process there was never any pressure or any hardball tactics to buy. Jason even even offered a coffee break at a nearby café where there was no discussion about buying, only about his relationships with the surrounding community, businesses, and their owners. Venice Motors sets non-haggle prices, but the asking price for the X5 was more than fair, and consistent with online valuations from multiple web sources. Where Venice Motors adds value is they don't add dealer markups and the only additional cost is for state required DMV tax and registration fees.

Bought my used 2014 Mazda5 from here. Jason was great. Car was super clean. Even under the hood was super clean. Had an issue with the shifter, but Jason sorted it all out. Would recommend. =)

In light of the requested filters just after a week i bought my first car in La with his kind support and expertise. I will start by stating that I am 54 years old with a large family and I have purchased many many cars in my time. This dealer was a breath of fresh air. They did not try to sneak any dealer add ons. The price they advertise is the price you get. I had a good feeling from start to finish. I wish more dealers would follow their lead.

I had a great time getting my car. I was not surprised with the cost as there were no extra or hidden fees. They were very honest with the vehicle and was straight to the point. Compared to the other dealers I've shopped at this was by far one of the better ones. I would buy from them again in the future if I need to.

Should be you first choice. They are great, honest guys and experts with what they're doing. Bought my first car with them. Now they are reselling it for me so that I can buy my new car from them again:)
