I went in the all day fishing trip on the island spirit. It took 3 hours to get to the spot even though it took 2 hours to get there on the half day on a boat that went 11 mph. On the full day Onec we started fishing we would switch spots every 20-30 minutes.we were supposed to get 7 hours of fishing but spent half the time going from spot to spot. We switched spots as i was watching other people catch a lot of fish. Not just that but the deck crew was rude. Especially the cook. I definitely preferred the half day on the Californian.

Very bad experience, went on the full day trip 07/16 on the island spirit. Worst experience ever! Cook and one of the deckhands were adding tips in your food total. Then asked for more tips. One customer asked for their 12$ back and was literally yelled at and told to go out and come back later because he doesn't have change. Also said that everyone leaves that as a tip. Not to mention him yelling at my cousin when he asked if they have menus or how to order food. Captain also had no clue on where to take us fishing. Kept driving around the whole time. The only spot we stayed in was the first spot. In the middle of our trip he drove 2+ hrs just to get to the other side of the island. We only fished for 5 hrs, and 7hrs driving us around. I paid about 700$ total for 3 people just to have a bad experience. Our group was 11 people total. Will never go again!

We all had a great time. The whole crew were great. Everyone from the cook to the captain and everyone in between. We will definitely be going again soon

Incredible trip and organization! Davin is the best deck hand I’ve ever fished alongside. The Californian’s captain, crew, vessel, and results were all absolute first class. We caught limits of rockfish and 25+ barracuda on a “half day” trip, incredible. Huge thanks to the team!

Very professional operation all around. The crew of both the Pacific Dawn and the Endeavor were awesome.

Went out on the boat for Ventura's parade of lights. The firework display after the parade was fantastic and a surprise for everyone on board. The crew went above and beyond to insure everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

We went on the Californian for the Sunday trip. The captain got us on the fish and we ended the day with limits! The Californian has the most indoor sitting I have seen on a Ventura county fishing boat.
