Dr. Trofimenko is amazing! She changed my life. After various visits to other urologist with no answer to my chronic UTI issues, I was hopeless. I found Dr Trofimenko through research online and traveled from San Diego to her office. That’s how good she is! Dr. Trofimenko listened to all of my concerns and was able to tailor a specific treatment plan for me. I could not be happier. Thank you thank you!

I was a patient of Dr. Gabal at Prestige Medical Group in Santa Ana. I needed an appointment because I was experiencing vaginal burning and was told that Dr. Gabal was very booked up but I could see Dr. Trofimenko, another doctor in the group, very quickly so I agreed. I saw Dr. Trofimenko and she recommended that I undergo the Mona Lisa laser treatment for a few thousand dollars, which I agreed to do. I paid for the treatment up front at the time. About a year later, Prestige Medical Group started sending me bills for over $200 for this visit with Dr. Trofimenko, stating that this was a ‘“new patient” charge. I objected, pointing out that I had been a patient of the group for several years when I first saw Dr. Trofimenko. After going back and forth on this issue, they changed the supposed reason for the additional charge by stating it was an “extended visit. ” But the reason it was extended was because I agreed to undergo and pay for the expensive laser treatment to begin that day. In any event, I decided to stop fighting with them and to post a review of my experience online so that other people would be aware of this practice. I was then contacted by a representative of the office who said that they would stop billing me for the inappropriate charges if I deleted my honest review, which I did. Nevertheless, Prestige Medical Group has persisted in billing me for the ridiculous charge. Furthermore, the expensive laser treatments and other treatments provided by Dr. Trofimenko have done nothing to alleviate my medical issues. The whole experience has been extremely negative.

My vasectomy experience with Dr Vera was awesome, since the first visit she was very professional and she listened to every question I had, answering them with great detailed explanations.
Medical procedures can always be nerve reckoning, but with Dr Vera she made me feel comfortable and reassuring that I was in great hands. My procedure and recovery went smoothly, even on my last check up visit she was very caring and offered to answer any questions in the future, if any arose.
The only issue I had was with contacting the office, calling the office can be a difficult task and with our busy schedules it can be an inconvenience, but when you walk in to get help the staff is wonderful! Overall, I strongly recommend coming in.

Didn't bother to answer there phone. Called three times different times of the day on a Tuesday between 10am and 3pm.

Apparently they can't be bothered to answer their phones. It rings and rings and rings.

Dr. Trofimenko is the best urologist ever. She takes the time to listen to your issues and develops a plan of action with you. It took me 3 urologists to find her and I am beyond grateful that I did. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a urologist.

I suffered with urgency, frequency and would even pee blood from extreme inflammation. I tried every treatment possible. Including: pills, bladder installations (catheter in the bladder), and bladder PT. Nothing helped and my bladder continued to inflame.

After discussing my history and prior treatments, she was able to instantly diagnose me. She said I suffered nerve damage from my bladder to my brain 9 years ago when I delivered my daughter. That is why I always have to pee even though my bladder isn't full. She confirmed with some tests. She then discussed 2 treatment options to try. The botox didn't work for me which she let me know ahead of time it may not. I then tried the Bladder Pacemaker trial.

I can't tell you what a game changer the Pacemaker was for me. It worked so well, we moved forward with the internal Pacemaker and I couldn't be happier. I went from going to the bathroom 20+ times a day to less than 10x a day.

In less than a year I am cured and can finally enjoy my life! She is complete magic!

Since my first visit with Dr. Trofimenko I've found her to be genuine, concerned and willing to take the time to answer my questions. I've felt informed and part of the process all along.
