Verizon, Oakland CA

Things were taking a little longer than I allotted time for once I decided to upgrade my phone. The young gentleman offered to let me use his own phone so I could run to the airport and pick up my friend on time. Thankfully it didn't come to that but I was blown away at the generosity. Everyone was so helpful and got me completely set up without being pushy with a bunch of up-selling. So grateful I picked this location!

The person working there when I came was so helpful. My phone had a malfunction and he was very patient and in problem solving mode. He got me a replacement phone the next day.

Daniel was so helpful! Clearly explained my options, was realistic about timing and very friendly. Turned the stressful experience into a broken phone into a chill morning:)

Marvin, the new Manager is fantastic! I'm terrible with tech stuff and phones and he spent lots of time with me, extra time, overtime, to make sure I understood everything. He made me feel really comfortable and I'm so glad he's there. I went back again when I had more questions and he was awesome. Thank you!

Don't trust this store. They lie to customers. Last year I switch to Verizon from T_Mobile. The staff told to me that I can trade in my used iphone, which can deduct ＄700-＄1000, depend on the model of iphone. Until now I didn't see it. I traded my used iphone, and I pay the full price of my new iphone.

Great customer service. They actually set up the phone unlike the Corporate VW store. Will come back.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I came in to transfer service to Verizon. They broke my service completely, and after 4 hours still couldn’t fix what they broke. Do not visit this store.

I appreciate both gentlemen who helped get my upgrade process go as fast as possible once the main system was working. Even played tic tac toe w one of the gentlemen to make the time go by while we waited for the transfer of information.

Ryan and Tim were incredibly knowledgeable and patient with me while I asked questions to get the upgrade that was the best deal for me. So appreciative for both of their help.

I had more than one issue that needed to be resolved. Ryan Morris and an additional associate worked with me for over 2.5 hours, making sure that they assisted me to the best of their abilities at during the visit. They also attended to other customers who came in without me feeling like I was being forgotten. Great service!

I actually take my previous review down. The lady literally kicked me out the store because she wasnt ready to open, I mean you can ask nicely.

I was sold a faulty charger and charger port, by the super hostile African American tall guy in his 20s (i think named Dashawn?) Who very poorly kept trying to ignore my "my phone works fine, I just want a new charger since I simply broke my last one" pleas to KEEP trying to pressure me to get a new phone, huffing, scoffing, and more. Finally gave up and just let me buy the charger, after a lot of hassle.came in once for an exchange but to no avail, it was said to be a Fast Charging charger but it wasnt, and barely got my phone past 5% even when charged for hours.

Came to the store again, the rude guy from before kept up the same schtick; talked over me, condescended to me, even snatched my own phone from my hands MULTIPLE times and left a gross dirty residue all over my screen from his dirty fingertips, (its covid, for gods sake it took two huge alcohol wipes and a phone case scrubbing to remove it iirc) and when eventually I got frustrated at him repeatedly snatching my phone out of my hands and trying to rudely pressure me into making a huge investment on a phone, and just took my phone and tried to leave without expressing my frustration, he called out to me in the empty store "yeah keep walking then gon head you lil musty crusty b**ch".

I was in awe at the extreme lack of manners and their behavior. And disgusted and felt VERY unsafe.

Just went and bought a charger from the local corner store. Lo and behold, a 15 dollar charger and charger port did much better than the 79 dollars i wasted did at the 'worlds best network. ' And did not get harrassed either! BUT never got my money back.

My experience at this store always very pleasant. Thank U Verizon for the quality personal that u select, ro asseit the geral public. Like Alivia.

Our representative was very knowledgeable, helpful and explained everything to us step by step. She made our phone upgrades experience very pleasant and we enjoyed talking with her. My grandson had to use the bathroom and the other representative very kindly let me take him to use the bathroom. Overall very good experience at this Verizon location ️

They didn't even show up for our appointment. Waited in front of a closed storefront for 15 minutes — no one showed up.

Joseph didn’t understand the trade-in deals and tried to force me to purchase an iPhone 12 I could not afford. Terrible location, go elsewhere.

Lovely people and very helpful. Honestly the best experience I’ve had in a Verizon. Would definitely recommend coming to this one than any other Verizon in Oakland.

They have the perfect balance of knowing when to be professional and knowing when to play. The atmosphere is cool calm and collected. I'd go there for a quick recharge and chat anyday. Vibes.
