DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE it is an "Verizon Authorized Retailer - Cellular Sales" they lie to you and anything you get here will cost you way more than going into a Verizon company store. We rencently went in with parents, they lied about needing a new mifi device when told they don't use it often and it was still on 4G - charged parents 130 for device in addition to $40 activation charge without telling us about any charges at all! Also talked me into new phone (I was with another carrier) we spent almost 4 hours waiting for the sales person to do what was needed (worse than any car lot I've ever been to and felt just as sleezy). I purchased S23 ultra, they also charged me $40 activation charge but failed to tell us that on top of the two $40 activation charges from their store, we would also still have $35 activation charges on bill from verizon, that is $75.00 in activation charges per device. Parents did not want a new device but wanted to make sure device still worked since they didn't use it often. For the S23, salesperson got in a argument and hung up on Comcast person when they were trying to port number. So set up temporary number. For S23 Ultra they charged me 50 for a screen protector that would not allow fingerprint to work on phone, went back the next day saying it wouldn't work and needed a refund. They said they couldn't give me a refund, said they would use "liquid screen protector" however don't think they actually put that on and my new phone has several scratches. Take my adivce - ONLY USE VERIZON COMPANY STORES TO SAVE YOU MONEY AND AGRIVATION.

My sister Violet and I went to
Samantha today at Verizon in Arroyo Grande. We were very impressed of Samantha. She was knowledgeable and respectful. She answered all the questions my sister asked about iphone 14 pro max. She set up her iphone and paired it with her watch8. She is an asset to Verizon. Verizon is so lucky to have a CS representative like her. Thank you Samantha for a very excellent service. Going back to Chicago I’m very confident that my sister at Nipomo will have someone to assist her if she has any problem with her iphone. You are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. Samantha was awesome! She hooked us up with the latest Samsung phones and a plan customized to our needs. She even went out of her way to personally deliver our home internet router instead of having to wait for shipping it to us. She definitely exceeded our expectations.

After a horrible experience with T-Mobile in Nipomo, Samantha M.helped restore my faith in customer service from a cell phone company. She was very patient with us, explained all the options, and was able to steer us to a great plan and awesome phones. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the different plans and services to fit our needs. Tons of thanks, Samantha!

Dex was most helpful. Great knowledge it was a pleasure doing business with him. I will recommend Verizon to my friends five stars.
Updated 9/13/22 - I returned to the store to make another purchase and had another good experience. This time helped by Taylor. He was very helpful to this low-tech gal, helping me to set up my Blue tooth headphones. It is a pleasure to do business with the AG store.

10/30/22 Service and attitude at the A. G. Verizon store have not improved since my 1/14/21 review. How could my visit to the Verizon Store in Arroyo Grande been improved so it was a good experience? Let me count the ways: (1) The male employee could have worn a nametag and introduced himself. (2) I went in because I could not see Apps I thought I loaded. He could have listened when I said, "I don't understand what you just did”. (3) He would have done the maneuver again, explained how he did it, and then asked if I understand. (4) He could have acted like he gave a _ _ _ _ about his job and we senior citizens who go there for friendly, courteous, helpful HELP. (5) When I complained about my monthly bill going up he would not have said, "There's no help I can give you. You might call Verizon. "
At a previous visit, the female employee I talked to said disdainful things about THE BIG CORPORATE VERIZON STORE IN SAN LUIS OBISPO. Don't the AG store employees realize that Verizon has something to do with them earning a living? Verizon, you should be ashamed that a senior citizen with only one phone is now paying $83.11 a month. The only good thing I can say about Verizon is that the service is reliable and very satisfactory. Thankfully Social Security is giving us a raise. I hope it covers the Verizon bill continuous increases.

Samantha Morrow is a terrific Verizon employee. I needed to upgrade to an iPhone 14. Samantha assisted me with that and then she showed me the Apple Watch. I’m so glad she did since the watch has apps that are already helping me get an exercise program in place. I didn’t know it has a feature that monitors my heart BPM! Love this watch. Samantha has a terrific personality, she seemed to anticipate my needs and matched me to products that will assist me in my everyday and as I travel. Now I think I need to check in with her regarding a new iPad! Loved her very positive sales approach!

I was at the Arroyo Grande Verizon store today and was interested in changing my plan. Samantha assisted me in getting unlimited data for an amazingly LOW price. She was very helpful, answered all my questions completely and came up with the BEST plan I could have hoped for. She is the best!
