Veterinary Specialty Group of Glendora reviews
6TOP NOTCH! Very efficient, professional & caring staff. Dr Yau is amazing and really knows her stuff (internal medicine) - as with any specialty hospital advanced diagnostics and tests can get expensive but they are more affordable than other speacilty places in LA area and won’t charge for something they don’t really have to do. They are very good at setting expectations and explaining everything (especially the medical jargon). This is Not your normal vet clinic where the techs and receptionist are usually not the best with ppl or even animals. Everyone here is great
My dog needed antibiotics and they refused to give them to her unless I paid 1.2k for tests first. 6 hour wait for no help at all.
I've been with quite a few vets in my life, and Dr. Yau is by far the best and kindest. She deeply and truly cares about your pet.
Some examples of how great she's been is that she follows up promptly with test results, even if it's afterhours for her. Another time, she left the country because of a family emergency, and so my vet appointment was pushed a few days back. As soon as Dr. Yau arrived in the states (on a Sunday night), she called me to ask how my cat was doing. Truly above and beyond.
Lastly, my cat gets defensive at the vet but Dr. Yau has always treated him and me with so much kindness. Conversely, other vets have acted like they wouldn't see my cat.
My dog is my best friend and I would move mountains to make sure he is receiving great care. My dog has cushing’s disease and chronic pancreatitis among other issues. After visiting several internist Dr. Yau is by far the most knowledgeable on his disease and next steps. She also does an amazing job with the emotional part of seeking care for your loved one. She is compassionate, attentive, patient, and above all loving. We drive over an hour to see her for our rechecks because we trust our dog’s life in her hands. Additionally, everyone on her team is sweet and attentive. Alex, who works at the receptionist desk, is great at following up when she says she will, communicates Dr Yau’s messages and is such a pleasure to speak to. Every time I speak to Alex it leaves a smile on my face due to her warm and inviting demeanor. We’ve been treated with compassion and patience by everyone on Dr Yau’s team (including the technicians) when it mattered most and we cannot express our gratitude enough for all Dr Yau and her team have done and continue to do for our boy, Barnabe.
Extraordinary veterinarian with spectacular staff. The most caring souls on the universe and straight to point diagnosis. Thank you, Dr. Yau. Thank you, Alex.
The doctor is very nice she takes good care of my dog she is very caring, and she does all the testing and treatments that my dog needs. She helps me find the right dog food for my dog because she is so picky, but she can only eat low protein dog food for her kidney disease.
