I've been trying to book an appointment from Los Angeles to visit Italy. Their website doesn't seem to work at all. I hope this issue gets solved soon!

It's the worst service ever! There was only one person working. Although I came first, the employee questioned my line. Other people behind me also confirmed that I came first. Still, she did not give my passport until she completed other people's work. She was so rude and made me wait in purpose!

My travel dates are fast approaching and I still havent heard back from VFS on where my passport is. I keep calling their call centre and write on twitter but no help. I hope there was a direct number to this office location who would help with the exact status on my passport. Its been 26 days now but status on application tracking still says " embassy has reviewed application and passport is ready for collection" I am not local so cannot even go in person to that office. If I have to cancel my trip because of their inefficiency then it would absolutely suck. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately my cousin suffered a lot of damage made by VFS global. My cousin was on-time applied and submitted all the documents needed for the visa application to the Netherlands. After few weeks not hearing anything and contact them, they keep saying that her visa is still under process. Until she came to their office and they admitted that they lost her application so they didn’t process the visa yet (few days before departure flight). They promised her that she will get everything done before weekend, but still no news. She came again to the office and they keep promising her that her visa will be arrived ontime few hours before her flight. And still no news. They promised her many things which based on nothing. Now she needs to rebook her flight ticket with €1200 price difference and we need to reschedule our travelling plans which damages us more than €2000 on hotel and transportation. I am really dissatisfied on how they treat their customers and I hope that with your proffesionality you will cover at least my cousin’s damage.
It is VFS Global fault to missing the most important procedures.

I am not sure why the score is so low.
The service is very quick and friendly.
We park in the residential block nearby and usually we need to park 2 blocks away.

It doesn’t make a lot of sense to wait for 40 mins just to drop off my passport, with only 2 people ahead of me (one dropping off passport and the other taking the biometric) …

I applied for a visa to France through VFS. It was very hard to find appointments at any of the locations but I finally found one here at Los Angeles. There was barely any wait time when I showed up to my appointment, staff was courteous and helpful, even catching a mistake in a date and allowing me to resubmit the document right after the appointment. They were very knowledgeable and ensured my application was set up for success. They told me I'd get my passport back in 2-4 weeks but I got it in just 1 week. Very impressed with VFS France and the French embassy.

One negative thing is they don't have a contact phone number. You have to email them and wait up to 48h for a response.

All the Men that helped me last Friday were very polite, helpful and professional even the supervisor and the office in the front I am glad my 1st experience was wonderful.

Sent my passport, application doc and prepaid envelope, they sent me an email that the prepaid envelope is missing. Both myself and USPS staff are sure that the prepaid envelope is sent. There’s no efficient way to contact and I’m extremely concerned about my passport.

I submitted my passport for visa stamping along with appropriate vac fees. I got a reply that the fees were missing. I sent the fees again through another carrier. They again replied that the fees are missing. I provided proof of payments and shipping details it’s been weeks i still haven’t heard back. Their online contact center does not even have direct way of communication with the actual office. I’m extremely concerned about my passport and unresponsive of the vfs center

I had a France Visa appointment at Los Angeles VFS on February 23rd and got my passport back with the approved France Visa on March 2nd.

I live in Washington and needed a France Tourist Visa. After I filled my application with France Embassy, I made an appointment with VFS. The website said I could submit my application to any VFS in USA. I found that VFS LA had the earliest date, so I booked for Feb 23rd at 3pm. I flew from Washington and arrived at LA in the morning. While I was waiting for my appointment, I got a call from an unknown caller. When I picked it up, it turned out to be an agent from VFS. She said it seems like my France application had something wrong and that I can come early at 1 pm because there were no appointments at that time so she could help check my documents. I arrived at that office 15 mins before 1 pm, and it took only 15-20 mins to finish everything. It was so smooth and fast. The agents are really nice and helpful. She asked me to check my address twice. After a few days I got a text message that my application was in transit to France Visa Center in Washington DC and then got another text from FedEx since I paid for Courier service. The approved Visa arrived on March 2nd.

Finding where to enter this building is critical to finding the vfs center. Entering from 8500 will not allow you to get to Canadian vfs office. Move around to find 8530 building number (it's barely visible from outside but you will see US flag). Get to the lift, take 4th floor and the door opposite to the lift is 450 room where you should drop your passport.

I really wish if they had better navigation for first timer as without this many can get lost. Once inside, things go smooth. There are a few seats to sit. They issue a token, and on called on you should your documents and done.

Website does not work well on the phone. Did not receive an email that my application was missing a paper. I had to call/complain/message customer service to be heard. And the last straw that they didn’t update the application status.
Update: got a call from customer support that told me about the missing paper. Sent the paper and hoping the issue gets resolved. Raising it to 2 stars
Update 2 bumping this to 3 stars as I got a the passport and the email notifications were working. If I didn’t complain then my deadline would’ve passed. Although no one notified me that I had a missing paper, they were prompt when I sent them the new package and resolved the issue. The TEMP 2023 number was mot given to me until very late. They should provide that upon payment as I only got a CAN number.

There is a parking garage under the interview office building, which is very convenient, but the fee is a bit high. The interview office on the fourth floor is a bit small, but if you make an appointment, you can basically arrange the relevant procedures quickly when you arrive. From reviewing the application materials to taking photos and finally taking fingerprints, the whole process does not take too long, the work efficiency is relatively high.feels pretty good in general.

This service is terrible. If you have any other options to get your visa take them. The application was incomplete when I mailed it and there was a courier fee that should not have been charged because they did not do their job with delivery and I had to pickup the passport myself. All said I had my passport in limbo for a month and no response to the emails I sent their customer service department. If you choose to use this service all I can say is good luck.

I needed Canada visa stamped on my passport, Sent the doc using USPS and return USPS priority as well. Got the passport back in a week. Amazing work guys.
