Villa Maria Post Acute, Santa Maria CA

I LOVE this place. The staff is warm and friendly, there is an updated modern feel to the facility, and the care is as good as their reputation says it is. AND the Administrator has fabulous hair.

My son is currently there. I am unable to get him home. The treatment is horrible, the food is ridiculous. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE
This is not good care

My dad is currently at this place for a fractured hip. The staff are all helpful. The nurses are attentive to my fathers needs. My family and I are happy with Villa Maria.

My grandmother just discharged from this facility. I can say the care, staff and facility was remarkable. All staff was very attentive including the administrator and DON. Therapy department helped my grandmother get over the fear of falling again, get stronger and able to walk independent again. Nursing took care of all concerns and treatment. Thank you to all of Villa Maria for your help and generosity. We appreciate you all. Grandma Rosa thanks you all.

People like Pam is nice, BJ smells good, but the care is exceptional, thank you everyone for taking good care of me and the residents

Very clean (no foul smells), homely feeling as you walk in the building. Very respectful and friendly staff, Administration team (Managers) are very professional, compassionate and care for their residents and staff.
I have had many friends n family who have stayed and gotten treatment or rehab. Highly recommend this facility

VMPA has the hardest working staff members that truly care for their residents. Their team works effortlessly around the clock to meet the needs of its staff and residents. I truly recommend VMPA to anyone looking for great patient care and around the clock staffing.

I wish to acknowledge all the Nurses/Aides, Cooks, Laundry/Housekeeping, Administrator & Staff, Staff Medical Physicians/Techs, especially RN Genny and so many others: Thank You for taking superior care of my Beloved Mother Beverly Steele! She is Always very Happy & Excited! I live over 2200 miles away towards the east coast due to military obligations and I work with the VA Hospital. I have also been a CNA, back in the day, as well as Assistant Chef, and worked in nursing homes/rehab centers over the years. I do understand "staffing issues". For example, why a Nurse might not be able to answer the phone when I call. I would be much happier knowing that a Nurse & Staff are taking excellent care of my cherished Mother & her fellow Residents, than entertaining me on a phone call at an inopportune time (such as: bath time, meal prep, dining schedules, medical check-ups, etc.). So, Please, be patient my fellow " extended family members of Villa Maria" when our hardworking caregivers are having a "busy day". I know firsthand what it is like to take care of 40 patients, keep them from falling out of bed or wheelchairs, take them to the restroom, and much much more can be said about the daily (24 hours) care our beloved family members are receiving at the caring hands of so many gentle & kind loving nursing facility staff. Remember, Villa Maria is our loved one's Home at this time. It is their 24-Hours Residence, much like a full service hotel. So, let's be patient & thankful for those rendering services to our loved ones that we, for whatever reason, are not fully equipped to provide them ourselves. My Mother, Beverly J. Steele, is Completely Satisfied with her care, Excited about her environment, and LOVES THE STAFF & HER FELLOW RESIDENTS! This gives me so much hope & comfort knowing she is happy, well-taken care of and is on her road to a very positive recovery! Thank you all again each one of the Staff for all you do, sacrifices you make every day, to help see that my Mother & many more Residents receive the most attentive & productive care possible. Again, Thank you just does not seem enough to "thank you" for all the hard work you do. We shall all receive an Eternal Good Reward for well-doing! Bless each one of you in the Mighty Name of JESUS!

By far the worst place to take your elderly loved ones for care. We placed our father in their care and
It was a complete nitemare. Because of their neglect and lack of communication and their ability to not do there jobs right my dad is dead. I will spare all the details of the painful death that my dad had went thru because of their neglect

Not impressed. When called someone may or may not pick up the phone. Hard to find a responsible nurse. Appears that they are all contractors. SMH.

I have been for over a year, and the staff is very caring for me. The atmosphere is welcoming and all cna's and nurses bring a family environment to this place which is comforting.
