Nice community center that offers great resources and programs to the community. It has a newly renovated gym that is relatively cheap ($65 for residents for 6 months). Boxing gym is around the same price for residents. Gets a little packed in the evening though.
The park is well maintained and the crime in the area has decreased quite a bit, so one can feel safe to walk around in the evening. Parking is a bit limited in the evenings, so you'll probably have to park on the streets.
Truly a one of a kind park in Pasadena that serves the best interests of the surrounding community.
Villa Parke has everything you need for you and your family to be active within the community. They have great soccer programs, boxing, aztec dancing, folklorico, a library with story time for the little ones, and so much more. You can access the city website and check out their programs. They also have front desk personnel who can help you get involved. My family has been going to villa parke for over 25 years and they are constantly adding programs to help serve the community and keep kids busy.
