This winery in San Miguel, just north of Paso Robles, features a very nice selection of moderately priced wines, beautiful views, wine tasting in the grand Tuscan villa and chef inspired lunches inside or out on the patio in the gardens. A fun stop in your wine touring.

2023 UpDate - Villa San Juliette, our favorite, in retirement, weekly winery & lunch stop. Today, we had warm weather, panorama of vines, rose gardens, Tuscan Villa & statues. With always lovely wines, friendly staff & chef. Should you be in the area or passing through you might try it but count on at least an hour to enjoy the experience. Notice - we own no interest in this lovely spot, darn it. It's just fun and unique.

Our favorite, beautiful venue for our weekly lunch, Villa San Juliette Winery, today with no crowds and beautiful gardens & skies (it's also an almost weekly romantic venue for weddings and we can see why).

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and a great wine selections make VSJ a wonderful place to visit.

This wine tasting villa was welcoming with stunning views and well-informed sommeliers. The Cab Franc was to die for but the Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec and Zin were worthy and tasty against any. Coleson was friendly and knowledgeable. The lunch was extremely tasty. Overall it was worth the side trip as we traveled from Santa Cruz back to LA.

As always, it was absolutely amazing. Makes you feel like you are sitting in a villa in the middle of Tuscany! The wine selection is absolutely superb and the food was incredible! We had the Salad with the catch of the day which happened to be Halibut and the Bruschetta is so delicious! By-the-way, the Halibut was cooked to perfection!

New Year's, less than cheery.
Really lookedforward to VSJs New Year's Eve brunch! Never been to the venue, drove by, looks so nice.
Our party of 4, no fruit juice offered, only self-serve water as non-alcoholic starter drink.
Brunch plain white toast delivered first without silverware and napkins.
Menu selection, ran out of part of meal, no substitute offered, even with welcome options offered.
What we did get was good, but with other stumbles to start our New Year, not going back anytime soon.

Atypical review?

We've been 2 times with great wine, live music, excellent charcuterie board +, both fantastic experiences!

Now we're planning another Paso Robles excursion only to discover the Villa is closed, Tuesday/Wednesday, during our time around Paso.the takeaway is we're REALLY disappointed not being able to visit!

Translation: While enjoying Paso, include the Villa to elevate your total experience.you'll be glad you did!
