Got donuts for a coworker's baby shower. The staff was super helpful and we got an amazing mix of donuts!

Going to village donuts gives me a real feeling of being in my old neighborhood. If you go there and see some people there one day, chances are you will see them again. Many of the customers know each other and sit and talk in little groups.

I like to come to village donuts almost every day for coffee. It is really non-corporate atmosphere. A large coffee is $2.50.p

The main batista is named Barb. She provides Great service and knows all her regular customers by name. She provides not only coffee and donuts but also sage advice. She does a great job keeping the place clean, and you will often see her mopping or sweeping the floors. The place is always very clean when she is working. She works mostly afternoons and weekends.

The place is run by an old asian couple (they came from laos to be exact). It is a true "mom and pop shop". Technically it is a "grand mom" and "grand pop" shop, since the proprietors are actually grand parents. Mr Lee, the world class master Baker, comes in every at 4: 30 or 5: 00 in the morning and starts cooking the donuts. He gives his donuts the taste of old world craftsmanship.

Classic car owners frequent the shop and seeing these vehicles is always a special treat. They especially like to gather on Friday mornings. I love the classic architecture of the whole shopping center. It was built in 1948 and the ceiling has really heavy exposed wooden beams.

Such a nice place to grab a morning snack after work. The doughnuts are nicely sized, priced and the taste is great! One of the few places I enjoy a warm ham sandwich, love the soft and fluffy croissant. Definitely going to come back for more:)

The donuts have always been great and still are. They tend to close earlier than stated. I'm a long time customer, so I'm still getting used to the hours. Coming a little over an hour before closing, I thought I would've made it, but they were closed. I understand they can run out, it just seems to happen and that's ok. Otherwise 5 stars.

Their donuts taste strange. Their Apple fritters are not crisp on the ends, taste baked, too moist/greasy.
