My husband received his berets today and they fit perfectly. He ordered a 62cm, which is the size he usually wears. We bought an expensive one and a low priced one and they are both excellent.

Based on their sizing, I ordered a Large. I was right on the cusp with Medium, and figured if it's slightly big, it's easier to adjust than if it's too tight. The hat was FAR too big, resting on top of my ears with the crown resting on the top of my head. I filled out the form for an exchange, and even included written instructions in the box with the return. 10 days went by without any notification, and USPS showed the package had been picked up 8 days ago, so I called the store. According to them, they had just issued a refund this very morning! I was a little upset, especially since I had ordered this to have for an upcoming performance this week and their ground shipping probably won't be here for 5-7 days. I was told I could pay extra for expedited shipping. When I pointed out their shipment wouldn't be here in time because of THEIR error, I was told they don't offer that service even in a case like this. I have to say the customer service rep wasn't particularly sympathetic, offering to hang up and let me order again online, and I had to repeat simple responses several times. Since I had to pay for the return, this is already pushing the budget I had set aside for this. I know the original hat seemed good quality; I just hope this LATE replacement fits!

Very disappointed about Village hat shop.usually I buy 3 to 5 new Hats every year from Failsworth Company direct base in Ireland.i never had a size problem 7 1/8, always fit perfectly. (made in Ireland). Once The color didnt work for me and got a refund and free shipping in the next 48 h.that was with the Irish Comp Fallworth.but this time i decide to give my Business to village Hat comp, USA business.i was wrong, size didn't fit way to small Of course Made in China, the website doesn't mention it, and let you think its made in Ireland, i never buy anything made in China.try to get at least the right size, not in STock at this time but No ETA.now i try to send back and i have to pay for Shipping, its not right the size is wrong?
and i ask for refund and i have to wait 7 to 8 weeks, thats a poor service.i will stay away from ordering from Village Hat from Now on.
