If it were possible to give 0 stars, I would. I called in to request a consultation for Wisdom tooth extraction as a new patient and scheduled an appointment with the front desk. During this phone call, I informed them that they are out of network for me (for insurance) and that I have Aetna DMO with an authorization code to work with an out of network oral surgeon. I informed them that I would prefer to work out the insurance arrangement over the phone so that we don’t waste each others time but I was directed to “just bring it in” for the appointment so we could figure it out in the office. I reiterated that I would prefer to work it out first and was advised that it would happen in the office. Well, lucky me, it’s appointment day and they’ve forgotten that we even scheduled an appointment. Okay, no big deal, they agree to see me anyways. I’m asked for insurance, and after reviewing it, I was told that they don’t work with Aetna DMO. Even with out of network authorization codes. Cool. It’s not like I’m dealing with a substantial toothache and took time off of work to make this appointment happen.

Got some helpful information and found out the price was in ball park of what I can afford.

Everyone was kind and professional and it was very clean. I had to wait about a half hr to see the dentist, but that’s pretty normal in my experiences with other dentists. He was thorough and explained all the options and was fine with my declining of certain orthodonture recommendations and didn’t make me feel pressured.

I do want to thank everyone at Vineyard Dental. For the care and the results of my dental work.
