Viney's Italian Kitchen reviews
15 Unfortunately, our favorite spot for Italian food was closed/no longer in business. But we remembered Viney's was also good! Sadly, Viney's disappointed this time.
Our waitress and cook were both polite, courteous and prompt.
As always the atmosphere feels like a quaint little Cafe you could actually find in Italy!
However they really dropped the ball this time when it came to the food.
My wife ordered the Spinach lasagna and they brought her the meat lasagna. They promptly addressed the issue.
I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. Entirely too much pasta for the dish and my chicken was nearly burnt. For a Saturday night it was pretty dead.
Food was wonderful, service was prompt and attentive. We've walked by multiple times, finally stopped in. Glad we did, it was great!
Wife and I had dinner at Viney's. She's had a spinach ricotta calzone and a garden side salad. I had the Italian calzone and a side Cesar salad.
We both found our salads to be freshly made. The 'small' size was a generous portion.
About 8 inches in diameter.
The calzones were on the large size. ~10x3.5". Sigh was fresh, crispy on the outside, doughy on the inside. We got second on the marinara sauce.
My ice tea was average.
Service was responsive and flexible.
The dining area was spacious and comfortable. Game playing on the TV. Dinette chairs and tables.
All adds up to a great food, nice experience, at an affordable price.
I did not take photos, but the shared ones above are accurate.
Food didn't sit well with us. Garlic bread needed garlic. The chicken Alfredo and baked ziti was good. Service wasn't great, the atmosphere was nice. They have so much potential! Consider a revamp and update the menu.
Weird smell inside. Old funky smell. Flies hovering around the table. Food was lukewarm. Stale, day old breadsticks. Husband had a piece of foil in his lemonade. Waitress needs training. Her and hostess sat at another table on their phones. Do not recommend.
Awful breakfast! Do not go here for the brunch/breakfast.service was awful.took two hours to get our food and all of the orders were either wrong or was missing something.
Since this dose'nt let you answer the business reply to your comment: This was from November 13th last year 2022. But thanks for getting back me in such a timely manner.
The owner is an idiot. Never make your customers feel like they stole from you when they clearly didn’t. Your credit card machine not mine. The money came out of my account and I showed you it right there and then. Just cause it froze doesn’t mean I didn’t pay. You are a fool. I will never eat there. Nor will I ever recommend it being a local.
Such a good place to eat! The waiter was super nice. Sadly i couldnt eat the banana split cuz they didnt have bananas the time, but that means that I have a reason to come back ;)
Stopped in to have lunch!
I ordered the homemade lasagna, n it was delicious. My sister ordered the Shrimp pesto pasta. We had our lunch outside and enjoyed the cool breeze.
Awesome food and service.the place could use a little air conditioning and music. Awkwardly quiet.
This was my first time at this restaurant and I will definitely come back next time I visit. The customer service was immaculate, the chef spoke to us and the waiters were very friendly. My whole experience was very enjoyable.
We Italian food. And I don't mean chain restaurants like the Olive Garden. This is a MUST. Very clean restaurant. Wonderful friendly staff.ask for Delaynie. Then, the marinara is to die for. Definitely not from a jar. We both had the Spinach Calzone. Enough to take home.
Nice wine list reasonably priced. We had Noceto Sangiovese. Very familiar, perfect match
Great food and great service. I've eaten here both to go and at a table; both times the service was quick and the food was hot and tasty. The pizza is some of the best in town and even better priced.
In downtown, walkable happening place, serves many cuisines based on days (Thu and Sat they serve Indian), Tasty food, their brownies are amazing (comes with icecream).
