Vinny's Pizza reviews
20I hate to give 1 star to this place, It is a small place and the waiting when you order food will be 45 mins to an hour. So we change our mind and move to another restaurant.
Went in with a family of 4 (2adults 2kids 3yo and 8yo) ordered food and so far everything was good until after 30min of waiting for a spaghetti meatballs and a pizza I asked a waiter how much longer it would take and he said maybe 30 more min, so that would be one hour waiting while dining in! No one warned us about 1 hour waiting time, we wouldn’t even bother staying there, however, pick up order people were going in and out just fine! Then a guy from a kitchen came out and started to yell something like we told you we had orders ahead of you and the waiting time is 2hour! … No! No one didn’t say anything like that! At this point my hungry kids started to cry and we left! Horrible management!
Also the restroom was out of service and the waiter sent us to the next door restaurant to use their restroom! That along should have been a red flag for us…Do not recommend!
Found this place just roaming around looking to feed the fam. What a great discovery. Tried out the cheese pizza and the pesto chips to go. Both did not disappoint. I am usually a pan crust guy.but this place got me converted. Dough was crispy, chewy and tasty. Will definitely hit them up again.
Walked in with my girl, ordered in good spirits. Waited for over an 1hr and 20mins. Got a large half pepperoni and supreme, 1 corona and a Pepsi can. 50.00 after tip. (Paid at counter before I knew).
No advanced notice about the wait. Pizza was lacking toppings, toppings were not cooked properly on the pizza. As a New Yorker this was far from a proper NY pizza.
Better off with domino's. Looking forward to talk with the owner, they need training and with a bit of effort this place could very well turn around.
Just disappointed. Visiting Tahoe and our pick up was just burnt. Crust and the bottom was black. Double check your pick up order so you don't get blinded since we didn't when we picked it up and brought it to our hotel and then saw what we got
Dryest pizza I've ever had. No sauce, and no flavor. Looked like they only had 1 oven running at the time so it was over an hour wait.
Super dry thin burnt taste and no sauce… no forks to eat our salad or desert with. Waste of $50. When I told them the pizza is wrong they said door dash ordering on Vinny pizza website sucks and to call next time. I won’t be back though. Blasé attitude from employees.
Dined in. Pizza was ok, but noodles were cold and tasted dull. Tables dirty. So if you are ordering Pizza for takeout you're ok. Shame because with a bit of more effort and a bit of caring it would be much better.
Ok so, this place was awesome. Door dash driver forgot out ranch but they made it better and drove it all the way to us. Manager was awesome. Also the food is super great!
Their prices have gone way up plus the on line menu is a lot less expensive. Plus they are now charging a 10% service charge which was an additional $6.20 to our bill. Same (similar) order at Lake Tahoe Pizza was almost $15.00 less. They have a much better crust also. Maybe they are new owners I don’t know. We won’t go back.
Hella chill homies workin'
Pizza was insane, so many flavors popping off.
By far the best Zah I've had.
Bad experience. $60 for two large pizzas. We had bottled water and they said we couldn't eat there without buying their drinks. So we left. The pizza tasted so cheap. The toppings, cheese, sauce and the crust was not worth the high price tag. And the bottom crust was burnt. Really regret giving this store my business. Should have just went to pizza hut for better and cheaper pizza.
They don't do pizza by the slice, which is a quintessential NY pizza. It took over 30 mins to get a couple meatball sandwiches, which had meatballs that tasted like something was off. The woman at the counter, although really nice, handled money and transactions, and then without gloves, went to the back to handle food. We waited for parking here for about 5 mins, couldn't get any, and ended up taking a risk, parking at one of the neighboring businesses. After waiting 30+ mins for our food, there was still no movement in their parking lot, so I'm not sure where all of these customers were. There was only one family in the restaurant and one family seated outside the restaurant.
Horrible customer service I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for a 10 inch and large pizza I was charged 56 dollars which is a lot for a Pizza that tasted like a Pizza Hut one 10 in is 10 and large is 17 they said they charged that much because of the toppings? Not sure how that ends up to almost 60 dollars when the pizza with toppings and everything should be the price you state 17 I got no meat or supreme so I was very surprised with my total
I politely asked the cashier when my food would be ready he ignored me and proceeded to laugh with his coworker about it after 40 minutes he kept on saying it would be ready they served the people who came after me first which I thought was weird since they had got there after me I was very dissatisfied with the employees attitudes please do better.
More like three and a half, pizzas are very good but service is just okay. They definitely are suffering from people not taking these type of jobs
10" pizza is $14 before toppings. Mozzarella sticks $13. These are some funky egg roll cheese sticks that aren't even as big as my pinky. Would not recommend wasting any money here. Pizza is.at best overpriced and over cooked. Maybe hire some stoners from the dispensary across the parking lot. They'd make an edibles pizza at least.
Ok.it's thin like NY style pizza, but that crust was like flavorless cardboard. No one could even bite it. You had to rip it off with your teeth. I love NY style pizza, but not this pizza. And overpriced, I spent 60 bucks for 2 large pizza and one of them was cheese only. So little toppings on the BBQ Chicken pizza. Save your money!
This is the best Pizza at Lake Tahoe period! I have eaten at several places in north and South Shore, by far this has been the best with Fresh veggies, and homemade sauce you won’t be disappointed.
The staff or owners very funny and very kind felt like I was part of the family the pizza was right on the best I had in a long time. Thanks you guys give y a "7" if I could.
First time at this pizza place. Customer service was great! Pizza was outstanding. Thin crust and crunchy. So fresh and right out the oven to your table. The chef even made a heart shaped pizza for us
