Visconti's Ristorante reviews
17This is a terrific place for special occasions and daily dining. Prices are very reasonable.
It was nice, food was good but nothing spectacular. Solid home cooked red sauce Italian classics. Very popular so make a reservation.
This food is by far the worst meal in three years I’ve ever had. My minestrone soup had broccoli in it, the bread smelled like and tasted like fish. The veal piccata was extremely tough and the and the chicken dish.was covered in burnt cheese. I I think they call this a disaster. The only redeeming qualities of this restaurant is the service, the alcohol, and the tiramisu.
If you are, Italian, do not eat here, save yourself $250.
We sat at the bar… great choice! Delicious craft cocktail… (pineapple mojito with Malibu)
Manicotti was perfect… Will be back…
Showed up at around 5pm middle of the week. Walking up, I could see half the restaurant was empty. Apparently, you have to have a reservation or you can be put on a waiting list to sit on the patio. Um okay, patio it is. Didn't understand that at all with half the place empty. Patio has heaters. Tables are really only big enough for parties of two even though some tables have 4 chairs.
Food: yikes. For the prices they charge, you'd "think" they make their own pasta and sauces. I do not think they do. Food was just bland. Lobster ravioli comes with tomato like vodka sauce but they should call it an onion sauce. Been here before I just recall the food being a lot better.
Service: great! Minus all the food was coming out before anyone could finish the previous course so not only were we still eating, they just kept bringing out food so no room on the table. Felt VERY rushed.
Between the prices, goofy rushed service and the way they act like you need a reservation like they are some sort of bougie high end restaurant, I'll pass on this place. Over rated.
We were looking for an Italian restaurant to fuel before the CIM Marathon, Visconti’s was the perfect spot.
Hopefully we were smart enough to book in advance because it was fully booked and crowded.
The service was fantastic, they perfectly took care of us.
The food was on point, we all had pasta which came with a minestrone soup and garlic bread. The garlic bread was so tasty, really to die for when coming hot.
They also offer a large choice of pizza and meat plates.
Highly recommend if you are around and look for a great Italian dinner.
Rigatoni Alla Vodka was excellent. Spaghetti Arrabiata was legitimately spicey. Garlic bread very good.
The small calamari was quite large!
A lovely lunch with the parents. The food was very good, flavorful and large portions. 11-18-2023
Family owned, charming, good food. Nothing spectacular but a nice place to come and eat some Italian food, have some wine and desert, for a birthday, anniversary or just a random date night
The restaurant atmosphere was good, but the food was ok. El fornio or paseano in sac downtown have better food. Service was good.
My wife and I had a delightful dining experience at Visconti's Ristorante. The cuisine was truly exceptional, and the service was impeccable. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided us with a warm and attentive service. We highly recommend Visconti's for those seeking an exquisite Italian dining experience.
Busy Saturday evening, and got in with 10 minutes. The staff are very responsive. They have a great variety on the menu. Food was great.
We have been coming here for a few years now and really enjoy the atmosphere. The service is great and the food is yummy! The bruschetta is one of my favorite things to order! We have never been disappointed by anything we have had. The house salad is nothing exciting and small but other than that everything else we have ever had had been really good.
This is a solid date night or any night. Great alcohol selection and the the food is killer. Kathy was awesome and made the night!
I marked down atmosphere due to a very large and loud party. We couldn't even hear ourselves think let alone hear each other. This is a delightful restaurant with great food and service. I was looking for a lunch spot to meet my friend that was tasty, not loud, and had seats around lunchtime. I found this one on the internet and it didn't disappoint. The large party came in, thankfully after we had enjoyed our meal, and we had to leave it was so loud instead of having desert and catching up a little more.
I really liked the atmosphere, felt very Italian. Very good service, food was excellent. The tirimisu was so good.
Expensive with smaller than anticipated portions. I got the lasagna. It was fine but I could've ate two. Long wait to be seated even though place was more than half empty.
