Vision Care - Daniel H. Mallory, OD

My family has seen Dr. Mallory for many years. Dr. Mallory is fine but seemingly more scattered than he used to. My bigger complaint is the eye glass tech. Mallory has had good ones but right now has the most unfriendly and not helpful, Kenneth. I just picked up sunglasses and they are scratched. My only option is to send them back and wait another 3 weeks.

Don't let them scam you, I've been going to them for years with no problems but after an appointment I was given my prescription with no PD measurement when I asked about it they said that it is a $35 fee unless I buy glasses from them then they will wave the fee. I asked when they started doing that and they said it was an "industry standard" and everyone is doing it. So I called another eye doctor in town and they gave me my measurement with no hassle and no charge. I will no longer be going to an office that charges ridiculous fees after already paying for the services of the appointment.

I had an urgent need to see an eye doctor. I called and left a message and received a call back. I was able to get in quickly. Dr. Mallory and staff are wondeful!

Lost my glasses, got my exam and was very please with service I received. Would recommend Dr. Mallory to my friends. Thank you

This is a good place to get your vision tested, everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I called on Tuesday and got an appointment for Friday, easy in and out.

I’m torn in my review of Dr. Mallory’s office. I’ve now been twice for just my normal yearly check up. Overall, really friendly staff. The tech was great and thorough. Dr. Mallory was fine during the exam except at the very end. He wanted to check the pressure of my eyes so he put the drops in and then walked out of the room and never came back in. Another tech came in to finish up the notes on the computer and to walk me out to check out and I had to tell her to check the pressure. My major issue is the waiting on my contacts to be ordered and the lack of communication that infuriates me. My first visit, I had no problems with my contacts being ordered and was called within maybe a week to pick them up. This second time was horrible. I was told at my visit they’d be ordered, so about two weeks go by, never hear from anyone so I call, no answer, left a voicemail, never received a call back. I called again at the 3 week mark, still no answer, left a voicemail, so I kept calling until somebody picked up. Was told my contacts were never even ordered and was then told that somebody would call me regarding it. Never got a call. Called the office again at the 4 week mark since my appointment, left ANOTHER voicemail and called again selecting the front desk option and spoke to a woman who was filling in for the usual receptionist. My contacts still had not been ordered. She was able to order them right then and there for me. Literally took 2 seconds so I have no idea what the problem was for the past month and why nobody seemed to be able to do their job. Unfortunately, my issues are just like every other complaint that is left in the reviews for this office. We’ll see if I get my contacts.

Our experience with this office was excellent as usual. All staff was helpful and nice. And the doctors pretty cool!

As soon as I walked into Dr. Mallory’s office, I was treated with kindness and respect! Being my first appointment, I was given the necessary papers to fill out! After completion of the paperwork, they soon came to get me and they checked my eyes and then the doctor came in and did a thorough examination! He gave me a prescription and explained how to use it! He was very nice and very professional! I really liked him and appreciated him getting me in the day after I called for an appointment! Now to get these eyes cleared up! Thanks Dr. Mallory and staff for your kindness and support in getting me in for a check up!

Overall the experience was good. He was very supportive throughout. Came across a bit condescending at one point, but not sure he realized he was doing it. Ladies in the office were very helpful.

I have gone to Dr. Mallory for many years now, and it has always been a pleasurable experience. Both he and his staff are professional and very helpful. I give him 100% credit for maintaining my eyesight in the best possible condition for my age and health.

My visit was wonderful. At my age, my sight is a gift. Vanessa got me in today as the last visit of the day. Dr. Mallory is so smart. He can just look at me and tell me everything. My conjunctivitis was not responding to the drops from Urgent care. I got new drops and will be back for a follow up in a few days. To see him at the last minute before the weekend is so heart-felt. I am able to relax and enjoy the weekend as well as heal in confidence. Thank you to Dr. Mallory and Vanessa!

Dr Mallory is a wonderful man and I enjoy seeing him for my eye exams. His pleasant, polite, and professional demeanor instills confidence in his patients. He explains everything in simple but precise words never leaving any doubt on what he is doing for you.

Dr Mallory was professional and did a great job on my daughter’s exam. He was very thorough and made my daughter feel at ease. I will be booking an appointment for myself soon and our family has a new optometrist! All the staff was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The office was immaculate and there was easy parking.

Dr. Mallory’s is a very good place to go to get your eyes checked whether you’re needing glasses or just going for a routine checkup! I went to Dr. Mallorys and the people are very nice and friendly. Dr. Mallory is the best doctor making sure he dots every T and crosses every I! I highly recommend there services to anyone in need of an optometrist.
