I'm not happy with their service.coverage for my dad's urgent care case was denied for unreasonable reason.

Visitor coverage did misrepresent to upsell a very expensive plan (US Visit Pro) with a longer coverage period than was needed for my parents. The sales team assured multiple times in calls and emails at the time of selling that I would get the refund if I canceled the plan earlier (which I informed in advance). Thus, I trusted them and bought the insurance. Later, on the day of cancellation, I re-verified with the support team, and their support team's email confirmed the exact dollar amount to be refunded.

However, the insurance company denied any refund as the tenure that was being upsell to me was the minimal. Hence, there would be no refund. I raised my concern to Visitors Coverage, and their support team (Yasmin, Sabrina, Tina, Richa and many more) has been making false promises for the past 7 weeks that they will issue refunds within 24-48 hours.

I've all the proof and communication emails that clearly justify Visitor coverage as yet another insurance company with a sheer motive of upselling who doesn't care about people's emotions who just want to have medical coverage for our parents and elder members of the family. It just wanted to take our hard earned money to earn their commissions.

I'm filing this complaint to BBB as well so that they can take appropriate steps for such fraudulent businesses and save people from getting trapped in future.

I want to give 0 Rating to this. When we buy insurance they process payment within few seconds. Its been 6 months, claims are pending. Don't recommend to buy from this website.

You have no idea between the child and spouse! If my 18 yr old is not A child, and you dont allow me any other option than spouse, you're sick to your mind. Pathetic and gutter level thinking when you can call your child, a spouse and DONT OFFER ANY OTHER OPTION IN YOUR ONLINE BUYING OPTIONS. SICK AND PATHETIC.

I am not happy! Took advanced coverage for parents. When want to see doctors even if I choose doctor from theri network provider list and called 3 orthopedic and couple of docotor, all said they do not acceps visiotor's insurance. I feel its wastage of money! I feel its too hard to find docotrs who accepts this insurance.

Beware! This insurance covers nothing. I bought it for in laws and it did not cover a single dime for a hospitalization due to a stroke.

Absolute worst insurance ever.i paid extra for coverage of acute episode of a pre-existing condition. I checked all of the boxes, for example, condition was stable, no new treatment, under 70 years old etc. Then when I did have a need for the insurance, I called and was assured it would be covered. However, they did not cover anything. Save your money and look elsewhere. Like others below, I would like to sue them, but it is too complicated since I am abroad. They take advantage of people.

We purchased Comprehensive Travel Insurance (CoverAmerica - Gold Insurance number - CVAI082827416) for our parents on a short visit. They had to visit the hospital for a short consultation. Since then, I have been trying to file that claim with the insurance company for almost three weeks. We have received conflicting information every time we have called the insurance agent. We have sent the required information several times, but the agents keep saying they don't have it. Often, they provide a different email address and we have to re-sent the documents multiple times. They provided a Fax number to which the hospital could send the details, but the number is incorrect. Total chaos, waste of time. I think this is a scam and am thinking of contacting the authorities.

The website was very easy to navigate, and gave clear, concise information. The only thing I would change is an option for seeing the quoted prices in other currencies than USD, such as THB.

They have the best customer service ever, agents are willing to help. Less talk, more work. 100% will recommend you're service to my friends and family.

I was pleased with how easy it was to find a policy that suited me through their website. They also helped me navigate and purchase the plan all in the same place so I didn't need to spend a lot of time going through paperwork in numerous places. I removed a star because I was disappointed with the lack of suitable options and hope they will add more options for ex-patriots (with US citizenship) traveling to the USA in the near future.

Be careful of this company, it is easy to involve, but when you need to claim the money back, they never approve it.
I tried to claim as I got sick during traveling, I have contacted the insurance for at least 10 times with both email and phone, they just told that my claim is being reviewed and never heard anything back.
Don't buy it.

The worst, it is better not to have an insurance policy instead of having VisitorsCoverage Inc. It is not worth it, and it is definitely not reliable.
I purchased an insurance policy for a family member who's visiting USA, and the insurance refuses to pay the expenses because apparently they do not like the statement and diagnosis the doctors provided to us. We even gave them new documentation after requesting it from the clinic, they just ignore us.

STAY AWAY, they are a SCAM!

We took pre-existing situation coverage & my father developed issue with his pace-maker. They never covered. We seeking legal advice

Update 11/11/2021: VisitorCoverage helped me to get my claims approved by the insurance company, they did a grate follow up and escalations until all my claims got processed. The insurance companies may greedy but if you buy through VisitorCoverage, they will step-in when you have issues with the insurance company. I should have involved VisitorCoverage at beginning instead fighting myself with the greedy insurance provider. I would like take back my below initial comment about VisitorsCoverage as they restored my belief in VisitorsCoverage, for sure I will use and recommend VisitorsCoverage for my parents future visits.

Please don't waste your money, they sell mostly fake insurance for their commission, I bought coordinated benefit plan for my mother, she had to visit hospital for infection, later the insurance company never processed her claims, I made to many follow up calls with customer care and provide all the required documents.even my hospital sent requested medical records twice.after 5 months of follow-up calls, the final reason they mentioned was "previous claim processing team member misplaced my mother documents, so they can't process my claim: (, the staff was so rude. Please check the complaints on BBB, my BBB Complaint ID#: 67496055.they even never responds to BBB (Better Business Bureau). Please stay away from VisitorsCoverage for your piece of mind.

Easy to buy and customize. Except for COVID-19 related coverage. We cannot predict for sure when a country will cross a tier, and having that waiver voids coverage of medical care for half the causes of death sometimes. I didn't realize the waiver was there until I bought it. Relieved we never used it.

Basically the very model of exactly how it should be done. From start to finish worked exactly as in needed without any problems.

I have been travelling a lot and had other international insurance BUT Visitors Coverage Inc.is different. From their website- friendly app to the timely delivery of their insurance card I know their quality of service will be excellent. Their coverage is extensive with a low premium paid, but the peace of mind it gave me while I am overseas is beyond my expectation. Nevertheless, this will be my 1st choice when it comes to international insurance. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for an overseas insurance.

Setting up on the website was straightforward to organise what we required.

However trying to extend the policy through the call centre was a problem and lead to errors.
