I received emergency room services on 7/4/2023. I did not receive a bill in the mail or by email. Then I started getting text messages from Vituity requesting payment. The link in the text messages just went to a payment portal website; there was no way to see or request a copy of my bill. Finally, I called the toll-free number and got someone on the phone. When I asked if it was even legal for them not to mail the bill to me but yet demand payment via text message, they immediately said they would opt me out of text messages and send a bill in the mail. So now I have the bill, but it doesn’t say how to request financial assistance, which I think is required in Illinois, if not everywhere. Most other medical bills that I receive have detailed information included about how to request or apply for financial assistance (discounted bills). I emailed them yesterday about this, asking how do I apply, because your bill doesn’t say? I have not heard back yet. I feel like they are really skirting Illinois law if not federal law, and waiting for people to call them on it, knowing that most people don’t know their rights under the law.

I pay all my bills on time, yet these spammers are constantly calling with their automated messages that offer no information. They tell me to call them and when I do it is impossible to get through to a real person. I've recieved zero invoices from them in the mail, but they won't stop calling with automated messages and don't offer any help or explanation as to why they call. This place is the epitome of all that is wrong with our health care system and should be shut down.

The only bill i got was a text, which looked like an obvious scam, now its in collections.

Should be illegal to be charged by a separate company than the hospital without being informed. Seems like a complete scam.

This place is a joke. My husband received a bill for "care" he never received. After seeing other comments saying the same thing its pretty clear on whats happening. This place needs to be shut down and the people need to be arrested for fraud.

I received an mail said FINAL NOTICE for charging my kid without any valuable information. My kid never received service from them.

Been trying to resolve a billing issue and the phone representatives are useless. I wrote a letter proving documentation that I had paid the bill. Called back upon receiving another final notice bill and was told that they do not read their mail. What kind of business is this?

If I could give 0 stars I would. There has been no contact with a person only letters and robo calls. Good luck if you are dealing with a workmans comp claim they will not help you at all and just keep contacting you.
Edit: Never talked to a person from this company at any point. For one call alone I waited for over 30 and they never called me even though they said they would call me back. After some efforts and some help, I was told I would be recieving a refund.

This is the worst company on earth first Bill said final, scan code won't work online account number not in system on hold for 2.6 hours until hung up on. After many attempts it's at collections we need to sue.

Got only one bill as a FINAL NOTICE. No return calls, no email response but to reiterate in length an auto response detailing a how-to make an account which was ridiculous and steps not quite accurate. Horrible login system, not user friendly on site by computer or mobile use. No human wants to help you. Better not get reported for non-pay while we are trying to apply for financial assistance/Medi-Cal.
