I really feel like the service department does that minimum amount of work to get by. My car has had a squeaky noise similar to the noise your break pads make when they need to be replaced for almost a year and a half. And when I took my car in, the service department told me that they never heard a noise at all… super frustrating

I'm still waiting to get registration finalized for a car I got in August. It's nearly February. VW corporate said it's the dealership's fault I guess.

VW bakersfield service department needs to be more specific with the description of the work in the service invoices. I took my 2013 jetta for a coolant leak for the first time on 11/08/23 and they told me the issue was the oil coolant and the price to fix this coolant leak was 2.5k$. I asked to the guy in the front desk if the head gasket was ok and he told me they did the pressure test and everything looked good with the head gasket and I decided to pay for the fixtures.note the invoice for this service doesn't say for how log they did the pressure test and the results. After driving 937 miles my coolant was gone and I took the car back to the the service this time they told me they did the pressure test again and everything looked good this time they added in the invoice for how log they did the pressure test and how many bar units were in the results, I took my car back to the road and after 200 miles my coolant was gone again I took the car back to the service and this time they did a big inspection also they did the pressure test for an hour. The diagnostic for the issue was a head gasket damage and it's to expensive to fix. The question is why didn't they do the pressure test for one hour since the beginning and probably I would have been able to save the 2.5k $ that I paid the first time when they said it was only the coolant.

Service employees were good. Unhappy with the fact that our brakes make noise daily and that VW has raised no solutions or attempts to fix the issue. Also vehicle breakdown issues.

Had the oil change and my tires rotate. I never got my keylock back called to let them know but never got a return call.

All staff members were very cordial and professional in assisting me or other customers. I am always pleased with the customer service and vehicle maintenance that I receive at this dealership.

Worst customer service ever. The managers are arrogant as hell and never ready to help the customers any way. They don’t even make an effort to speak to the customers. The sales team is nice but end of the day are influenced by their snobby managers. I am ready to pay higher amount and get a car from a brand that value their customers. Never ever going back to purchase from this brand or any brand that’s affiliated with them.

Service representative is friendly. Yet, unfortunately, my vehicle is not even 1 year old (2023) and the c-ports don’t work correctly (even after replaced), my screen turns off at times, my phone doesn’t always charge on c-port /usb, my mirror traffic sensors don’t work, and my breaks sound so bad but they say my breaks are fine. They are NOT fine! They grind at times & squeak and it sounds like I’m driving an old vehicle.
I’m still waiting for a call from dealership. Please Please Please VW fix my vehicle or replace it. I’ve been so patient. I’m a mom that needs her vehicle and that is why I purchased a brand new vehicle.
