Vons, San Diego CA

Vons has the best deli meats and cheeses. I also love their desserts. And the freshest produce and meat's.

Groceries and store are fine, but their prices are higher than others by a substantial amount. In many cases lately the private label is more expensive than brand name, which is nonsense.

The Starbucks in the vons is open and they are great. Open at 5 am and have a great attitude.

Not autism friendly, to start with. From the time I walked through the front door (on the floral side) this store was a nightmare to navigate. The floor space open for foot traffic is so sparse and snug that a single other person with a cart can create enough of an obstacle that you must turn fully around to reroute. Probably spent a solid two minutes in the store before I could think of anything but how to get past everything. Then I got to the first item I needed and noted that it was $1-3 more expensive than it would be elsewhere so I went to Stater Bros instead.

Quick and easy. Stickers on floor were helpful in locations items. Checkout person was helpful in adjusting the price charged for a sale item not recognized by the bar code scanner. Keep up the great service.

I shop here almost daily. Every thing is always well stocked and staff is friendly and helpful

Understaffed. Did not receive the right help about getting a US SIM card to cover the holiday period, bought the wrong thing, non-refundable. Had to wait to get any proper attention. Frustrating.

It's an average Vons with a below average organization that makes things hard to find

We went to Pharmacy to get flu shot. First they were closed. Then they denied us. We will not be going back. Complete waste of time

It's a supermarket. Vons, eh.you buy stuff here. Good local market. Not local produce but where you buy things

Always well-stocked and clean. The manager has opened another lane if he sees only two back-up.

Not as much selection as a few other bigger stores, but everything is clean and tidy at least. Bread department could stand to have an overnight UV bulb to reduce fungus load though, breads go bad too quickly.

This Vons is mostly clean and well stocked. The Deli and Bakery were attentive and friendly. Produce had A few too many yellow bananas and apple quality issues, but overall good. The meat dept was well stocked and appealing. Grocery was great. The frozen food aisle needs serious attention. The presentation of filthy, absorbent socks and dirty floors begs the question of why sky high priced refrigeration service companies can't seem to figure out routine case defrost draining and 30yr old plumbing issues. CALL THEM BACK!

The pharmacy and staff have always been very caring with compassion. I have epilepsy and they make treat me extra special!

Their prepacked groceries like peanut butter and bread is fine; 3-4 stars, but their "fresh" produce is really bad; 1-2 stars. I saw small pools of water gathering in their misted produce section. Their onions were already spotted and looking like they were going bad. I would avoid going here for produce if you can.

This is our local Vons. Prices aren't great, but they usually have whatever I'm looking for, and it's convenient.

I bought the wrong Popsicles, the guy who managed check out was really cool about the return.

Also, someone is opening boxes of ya all Popsicles.
