Vons, Escondido CA

Vons is a excellent place to get your usual groceries items. You can buy sweet treats for your children, and there is a mini Starbucks station. Overall, it is a great place, and I heavily recommend you to go here for your needs.

Today, new years day 2023. The store was "FREEZING COLD". We did mention it to the cashiers. They said indeed it was cold they had double sweatshirt, hat and gloves in their pockets. I asked if they brought in carts they said no that was not their job. It was just really cold I. The store. Maybe it will be warmer later.

I didn't get her name, but one girl back at the bakery counter was such an immense help; and it was the night before Thanksgiving, too!

This store is very unorganized. There are always lines down the aisles because they don't open enough registers during busiest times. It takes a long time to find items because their signs do not match what's in the aisle. There's a sign saying there are paper towels on aisle 8, but they're actually on a different aisle. Ridiculous. Update your store!

The staff are welcoming and helpful, the location is convenient and it's a wonderful part of the community.

Aside from this location to be along the way in and out of Escondido going to and coming from the south, they have really cheap gas which is ideal to have in these times of expensive prices.

Went to buy shoes. Thought it's was a Van's outlet. Although there were new shoes I did buy a twinkle and a Twisted Tea. Guess I don't need shoes as much as I need twinkies.

The gas station is great with good prices and easy access in and out. The staff is friendly and the store is nice and clean.

Gas for 40 cents off a gallon with my points who can beat that? I fueled up on every far reach of the galaxy and this is the best so far.

Went to checkout and the conveyor belt was a mess. I asked the cashier if she would clean it and she said, "it's been non-stop for 4 hours I don't have time". I said, "well I guess I'll go to the self checkout". Not even a peep or I'm sorry I'll clean it, nothing. Not the first time employees at this vons have been rude. Too bad because it's a nice store.

Everything that we keep getting here keeps going bad. Veggies and meat keep going bad within a couple days. We bough beef short ribs here for $25 for a dish and it already smelled rotten in 3 days. Won't be buying produce or meat here.
