Great nearby grocery store when one is missing crucial ingredients for a meal! I love their Friday Frenzy specials and UDeals coupons. Friendly cashiers who know me from shopping there many years.

Pineapple upside down cake had some questionable white like slime, on all of the the Pineapple cakes.and the pineapples were brown in color. None of them were sealed. I worry for everyone who eats any items unsealed, with this world we live in today. I would also like to bring up that there are new strains of bacteria out here, that are Antibiotic resistant. I will call the corporate customer service number, to try and get them to see that. This could be a law suit if anyone is poisoned because they did not take precautions to prevent this from happening, to the best of their ability. I'm just trying to help us consumers, who are unaware of the dangers of unsealed bakery goods and any items sold to us consumers.

The front manager Raul was not friendly.worse yet, knowingly that the coin wallet put aside on the counter came from us, he picked it up without saying a word and threw it away. What kind of behaviour is that? ! He should not serve for people.

My husband and I came to this Vons instead of Ralph’s since we wanted to support our local Vons. We were both tired from hard days work and we’re happy to get groceries, so we can have a great dinner. Our shopping was pretty pleasant even the prices are higher than Ralphs. When we got to the register, a cashier named Tracy (an older lady) looked very upset and looked like she doesn’t want to be there. The whole experience was pretty bad.
I noticed I needed an extra bag because she didn’t put one item, so I tried to get another bag which I know I will pay extra. 20cents I didn’t mind because I don’t want to drop the item. I mean we spent over $100, so paying. 20 cents for a bag is not a big deal, but the way this lady spoke to me, (she said we charge for a bag and I will charge you!)
Wow like I was gonna steal a bag in front of her was unacceptable. She was so rude. I told her I will pay for it and she looked at me like right. I understand VONS have thefts all the time, but I am not a bag thief. I was like wow! My husband was so upset, so we left.
Usually our experience here with the other cashiers are pleasant and friendly, but this lady Tracy was so rude. She didn’t even acknowledge us or say hello. I understand she might be having a bad day, but don’t take it on your customers. If she’s having a bad day stay home. I’m writing this review for the GM of VONS to see this. As a cashier you need to at least deliver some good customer service. Now it makes sense why at this VONS it seems like no one is shopping. What happened to the other cashiers? Well, for a Memorial Day weekend usually it supposed to be busy. Anyways, our overall experience today was bad. So if I can give a zero I would.

Fresh flowers, potted plants out front. Smaller store but had everything advertised. They have Friday only deals, become a member, down load the app and click coupons, or the Just U deals when you earn points with amount of dollars spent.

Very clean with plenty of options. I LOVE the Bakery selections. My favorite being the shortbread cookies with a dollop of chocolate DELICIOUSNESS in the middle! The hot foods have the best grilled mango habanero chicken EVA EVAA! I do WISH they'd keep the white macaroni and cheese ALL YEAR long! The produce is okay, not my favorite but still decent. The prices are kinda UP THERE, but hey it is in Torrance
I do recommend it though.

This store is well stoked for the most part but there are a few things that are not flowing right. For instance, staff smokes in the front so you are forced to smell that. The deli has no condiments or utensils readily accessible. You might be lucky if u ask the overly busy deli people. At least the younger girl there is very nice and one of the only people there that is doing their job right. Please make her a manager or something. She knows what’s up.

I recently visited Vons, and I must say, I was impressed with the overall shopping experience. The shelves were neatly stocked, making it easy to find what I was looking for without having to search through disorganized aisles.

The cleanliness of the store also stood out to me, as everything was well-maintained and organized. It was clear that the store management takes great care to ensure that the shopping experience is a pleasant one for customers.

In addition to the well-stocked shelves, I was particularly impressed with the attentive cashier. They were friendly, helpful and made sure that all of my items were scanned and bagged correctly. It's always a pleasure to encounter such great customer service, and it made for a stress-free checkout process.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Vons to anyone looking for a quality grocery shopping experience. From the neatly stocked shelves to the attentive staff, this store is a standout in terms of both convenience and customer service.

Until my last shopping experience I would have given five stars. I've been shopping at that location for at least forty years. Way back when it was a Safeway. In all of that time I have never had any problems with any of the employees. Everyone has been great. Until the new manager. Who has no regard for senior citizens. Since the COVID outbreak I have been shopping when they first open. That's been 5AM for a while now. My mother is 91 and unvaccinated because she can't go out. So I have been social distancing to kind of an extreme. Now that pathetic excuse for a manager has declared that anyone who arrives before 6AM must use self checkout. It would be one thing if I was buying a few items. But when I go I have a shopping cart full. Now spending $150-$200 dollars a week. And that butthead now expects me to kill my back bending way down repeatedly because the self checkout aren't designed for a 5'10" person. At five something in the morning. With a cart full of groceries. If he doesn't change it back I will do my shopping elsewhere. And maybe I can get a couple of my senior friends to do the same. Plus with what I am paying why should I have to check myself out? That was Friday and my back still hurts. Thank you ever so much you horrible excuse for a leader. But since you apparently don't want my business, 150-200 dollars a week, I'll spend it elsewhere.
Shame on you! Evil monster!

It was OK, it's a not that big of a market, I went there (twice) because I was in the neighborhood and every time I went, they didn't have what was on there ad! (yes I did get a raincheck). I did go the the deli, the young lady who worked there at Nite was so nice & went out of her way to help me, I appreciate that!
