Vons, San Luis Obispo CA

I was treated badly by this Vons in San Luis Obispo. My online order didn't go through. I don't shop at this location they allowed me to. They humiliated me in front of the entire store. Every employee didn't want me to shop there. They asked me if I was almost done. They bagged my groceries inappropriately bags too heavy. I was asked not to shop there previously because, I have a Mental Illness thats discrimination. A Manager hung up on me over, over. Bad language was used previously too.

Customer care is OUTSTANDING. Smaller, but clean, bright, well organized and stocked neighborhoody-feeling VONS location. Good selection of fresh and beautiful produce and wines. I have never dropped into this location (all days/hours) and not found a warm and helpful reception. ***Special kudos to Misha in Pharmacy*** your kind and helpful attitude and professional demeanor is SO appreciated. Also, a dark-haired gentleman in Customer Service (manager/supervisor?) will personally walk out to find items and help quickly and efficiently. Truly, above and beyond customer care at this location. I shop here because (a) it's convenient but (b) the staff. There are places you might find some things at a lower price, but you won't find this kind of focus on customer care. P. S. The app has sizeable coupons that if you 'clip' (on your phone) can save you a ton. It's a bit annoying to have to do, but worth it in the end. Also, they can offer PET medication discounts! You can add it to your profile online or just ask them. Thank you all!

They have everything. With a membership and the app you can purchase there deals and buy $300.00 worth of groceries for only little over $100.00. But you have to have the Bob's app and clip the deals. Prices beat Walmart prices with the Von's membership.

Cleaner than Target and Ralph's.

Very disappointing I don’t recommend coming here take your business elsewhere. Cashiers are scammers made me pay for an item I had already payed for. Don’t go here I do not recommend it. 100% sad

Not even 30 seconds after walking in the door. Kelly, Kelli (spelling) started following me around every single aisle I went. I recorded video of her popping up on th background everytime I went around the corner. I had done nothing but walk into the store a black male. Place racist! At least Kelly/Kelli is for sure. Supposed to be beyond profiling these days.

Only stopped following me after they saw I knew someone who worked in the store (family member)

I really like this store, they have a great selection of everything and great customer service. I went to the Pharmacy today and the Pharmacists were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Well let me say that I used to work for Vons in Grover Beach and in the bakery and although Grover Beach I find all stores are expensive this one has really good bargain place in the back by the bathrooms this Vons they have all kinds of different stuff on clearance so I was checking before you leave the store.

Always a busy store to go to. I often find the precut veggies my mom requests on her grocery list is out, which means to me that they are freshly cut and not sitting on the shelf very long. Can get nearly everything I need here, but a bit pricey, like everything in SLO.

Just went for COVID booster. I only had to wait a few minutes past my appointment time. They had a clean, private room for injections. The woman was friendly, fast and professional.

Von's is by far a great store. A large selection of fine foods and the kindest staff to make sure your shopping experience is fast and very enjoyable.

Vons usually has a wide variety of food options. Their prices can be a little bit higher than some other locations, but overall seem to be fair. They do seem to have a very wide selection of meats, fish, and they even had an octopus last time I went there

I like to turn all the Claussen pickle jars around so the labels are hidden and I haven't been kicked out so that's pretty cool I guess.

This Vons has recently updated the checkout area with self checkout stations. They are quick and simple to use. Things are moving faster now that many of the restrictions have been lifted and the systems are more mature.

San Luis Obispo has many places to choose!
I like shopping at Vons this market is one of my favorite places. Good hours of operation and great products. Incredible and kind costumers service. Stop at the deli check the food selection. The bakery offers cakes, breads and more. Meat department has many choices!

Store was nice, clean with friendly staff.
Really disappointed with girls at Starbucks. They had a promotion that ended today. It was $5 for a grande coffee and pastry, which I ordered and made mention to the girl working the register. She had no idea of their promotion and proceeded to charge full price. I reminded her of their promotion which was posted on boards outside and inside Vons then she correctly rang up $5, but not before she had difficulty with ringing up $5. Told her hot coffee and was served a cold drink. I told the second girl I had ordered a hot coffee and decaffeinated. She did give me a hot coffee but wasn't pleased. I am doubtful it was decaffeinated. I haven't tried the blueberry scone yet. Hopefully it's fresh.

Went there to get a blood test. What? !? !? Yes they do that at the Vons in Grover Beach! I was in and out in 20 minutes. Who knew?
