Vons, Palm Springs CA

It was absolutely horrible to see how management treats there staff here at this establishment. The lack of employee appreciation really shows. I always see new staff here on the weekly basis. I could only imagine that management is the reason behind the fast employee turn over rate.
I hope the company will be able to provide Mario and his staff with better training. Showing employee appreciation goes a long way. I'm absolutely baffled by what I saw today.

Pandemic getting very bad and here they are not making sure people in line stay apart. Today customer is right behind me instead of and the checker doesn't tell him anything she's just having a conversation with him not even acknowledging me and then when I comment the customer on the checker look at me very rudely when I'm simply asking for them to stand back because they're right on top of me literally I can't even reach my arm out he's so close. Always here! My foster kid has been trying to get a job here for several months now (going in & calling to check) and can't even get an interview. He's 17 and trying get a job or experience, he now will be 18 soon. Previous: Many unhelpful employees with no customer service and a lot of attitude. Usually this way here. Very few checkstands & they don't like to open those. Bakery always closes hours early, sometimes the deli. Walk passed butchers at meat counter, they don't greet you at all or ask if you need help. They make it obvious they want to move out of your way, you're in their way when you're trying to look at product. One of the checkers (female with accent), ridiculously rude to customers & staff (in front of customers). Always complaining! Girl at customer service booth rude for no reason. Always make the wait longer by not opening checkstands, and they only have a few. Not good! Joel, rude and slow as heck. And hes the only one open at 8pm.bagger girl not friendly. This place lacks 100% in customer service. Who taught them how to bag groceries (checker & courtesy clerk) lol

Clean, well stocked, most of the staff are nice, but lately the deli department has made me think twice about ordering sandwiches, not very welcoming, they always run out of something, the veggies are not fresh, they gave me the impression that they don't care about costumer service in that department!

It smells like a dead body in there right now. Literally. And nobody says anything. They just walk around like the smell of decaying meat is not thick in the air. July 7,2023.

I was here in Pakm Springs for a family ceremony and had to stop here and found this store very clean and stocked along with being very quiet with not a lot of shoppers at that time of night. Where I live, it's usually still pretty busy and seems louder. But I usually shop at Vons if I need something. Everyone seems really nice, and I get stopped just for them to say HI and ask how I have been doing. I haven't been in a Vons that hasn't been clean and mostly stocked (without the lockdown period, which wasn't stocked, of course)

I didn't care much for the store because of the prices but then I got the Vons app and boy has that changed my world you should try to.

I'm new to the area and can walk to this store that has most of everything one may need. The store's personnel are friendly, helpful, and professional. What else can one ask for?

I was here at this location earlier doing an Instacart order and i have to say my experience was unpleasant. The reason being was because an employee by the name of (John) that works at the deli making sandwiches was very rude. He kept mumbling talking about how people had to stop coming, he was also was tossing the sandwich toppings when I told him what I did and didn’t want on it. He was very annoyed and mad about the fact he had customers at the front. This is the second time I go to this bobs that he is rude and honestly think someone needs to bring this to his attention.

Good place to get gas and groceries. Easy parking lot to get in and out of unlike other places.

This is a clean and well run Vons, and has a Starbucks inside as well. Fresh produce, quick checkouts, clean store and helpful staff. Great food stock up for our vacation rental!

The store is pretty much like any other Vons/Safeway/Pavilions in California. There are no self check lines, but most of the time sufficient registers are open to minimize waiting. The store is not the largest, but manages to keep most typical items in stock is clean and cared for, and there is a Starbucks inside.

Upscale Safeway. Fuel station (not RV accessible), nice deli with hot & cold foods wish they had another cafe offering vs overpriced Starbucks. Big Riggs /RVs park on NW corner of the lot behind Sunny Dunes Club

You've hit Gold by the most excellent associates working. They make the increased prices almost palatable

1st time trying Vons pharmacy. My dr sent prescription at 11am.
I go by to pick it up at 530pm. And they say they don't have it yet Try back tomorrow.
So I will call in the am and I'd it's not there I will get written prescription and hand deliver.
Guess that's faster than email

Big, clean, and bright grocery store. It was well stocked, even with the largest PS event in full swing. Polite staff.
