Several problems with the vaccine experience:
1) Turned away for a vaccine after waiting in the vaccine line 10 minutes. They have a specific line for vaccines, but they don't have any signs to say they're closed between 11: 30-1: 00. And they ignored people in that line and served others instead.
2) The online vaccine appointment system doesn't list the vaccine that I'm required to get, but they do offer it, so I have to try to walk in for that.
3) They're unable to make me an appointment from their computer for the vaccine I need, so I have to try to walk in for it.
4) Some of the pharmacists lack basic knowledge of vaccines. Upon returning later we asked for the Varicella vaccine, to which the pharmacist asked us if that was the "Gardasil" shot, which is for HPV.

Some very simple problems they can fix to make the experience much better.

I went with my mom of 84 yrs old twice to get the Covid booster and they didn’t give it to her. The 1st time the technician or pharmacist said that they were closing at 8pm and that the last vaccine shot was given at 7pm (some strange rule they have). We were there at 7: 20pm. The 2nd time we went at 4: 45pm and they didn’t want to give her the shot because they said they don’t give shots after 4PM. Their rules were a moving target. They are lazy and don’t want to work. I ended up going to another pharmacy. Don’t waste your time in this pharmacy. They don’t know what they are doing. If she was working for me, she would have been fired by now.

My grandma had an appointment for the COVID vaccine and the woman working told her twice that it was too late even though she had an appointment and it was 7: 20 while they close at 8. She said the last dose was at 7, and sent her home for 2 different appointments. Extremely lazy worker and never going there again.

Consistently rude service at pick up. Prescriptions never ready when they say they will be. Do yourself a favor and find another Pharmacy to get your medications at.

By far the worst pharmacy experience I have had. Walk in for a pickup. Get told my medication is not ready and they were on lunch and the prescription was just sent in an hour ago when they weren't working which is why it isn't ready. Come back in 30 minutes and it will be ready by then. I come back in 4 hours later, get told by same staff that my medication is available but not ready and I will need to come back in in 30-45 minutes.

Also their employees take ridiculously long lunches and their pharmacy is closed for extended periods of time during their extended lunches. VONS employees informed me they take 2+ hour lunches on weekends and when asked when they would open, store employees said they weren't sure.

This pharmacy is poorly run, with terrible customer service. If you can, use a different location. There's no excuse.

They are either not having the medication in the pharmacy or you need to wait “ another 20 min” because uour prescription is not ready.

Dr. Thao-Huong Le was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and caring in giving me two vaccinations. She was thorough in going over plans to get the next doses when I am living out of state in the coming months, and she even offered to call me tomorrow to check in on any side effects! Would definitely recommend.

The pharm tech had no idea what she was doing, and the pharmacist gave me some wrong information.
