WaBa Grill, Castaic CA

This is a great healthier alternative to fast food, especially in Castaic. There is plenty of parking here. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has always been clean.

I ordered a salad and avocado, I waited 30 mins for that not to mention a couple come in and order and gets there food way before me! And they forgot the Avocado so I walk all the way back to my truck and it wasn’t in the bag any ways I didn’t eat the salad nor avocado because the food stinks and I feel like they did something to it from the beginning they acted like I was in the wrong place I will never

I made a point of calling to be sure of their business hours and waking up (truck driver) in time to get my dinner to go.

I arrived at 8: 45p on 11/4 (Thursday) to be told they didn't have any more dumplings. I commented, "Must be good, you sold out. "

But NO. The young woman at the counter informed me "We already threw the water out, " and wouldn't be making any more. I replied that since it was 15 minutes before closing time, that was not appropriate. She didn't seem to be concerned.

The food I did order came quickly. When I said "Thank you, " she replied, "No problem. "

"No problem? ! " Since when is that an acceptable alternative to your welcome?

I haven't eaten my dinner yet, so we'll see if what I got tastes as good as it sounded.

I love WaBa Grill! I could eat this almost every day. Choose from Salmon, steak, chicken, vegetarian or vegetarian meat, Rice: brown or white. Sauce: teriyaki, hot or Garlic Serrano.
With veggies or salad and orange slices.
Add avocado or not.
Maybe you want pot stickers or Miso soup.
Not really concerned about calories? They have rice crispy treats and cookies.

I was traveling on I-5 to my hometown, Sacramento, and stopped to eat in Castaic. Had not heard of Waba Grill before.
Very good food! Tastes great and is healthy!

Poorly run. 2 people were already complaining about their order when I arrived. And they forgot my avocado.

Food was burnt tasting and dry had both the chicken and salmon only thing that was ok was the rice

Only got one of two bowls in our order, honestly would have been better off driving away without any of it. Avoid this place like the plague

Yum! Great place to come to with your family, or if you're passing through town and need an inexpensive place to eat with great food, and decent sized portions.

Love the fact that everything is fresh and simple. It's basically Teriyaki flavored if I had to describe it.

The steak is awesome, very thinly sliced, and very tender. I want to say it's thinly sliced ribeye, but don't quote me.

If you're a big eater, the trick to this place is getting double order of meat with your bowl or plate.

The rice is great, but I usually ask them to substitute for vegetables. That consists of steamed cabbage, carrots and broccoli.

I love Waba Grill but this has to be the worst one I've ever been to. Everytime they mess up thr order. I've been here 3 times and all 3 times they charge me for avocado without adding it to the meal. I ask for no veggies and they put veggies. Today they did not add the avocado and put no sauce at all on the food or in the bag. Plain rice with a little bit of steak. This Waba Grill is the butt hole of all Waba Grills.

They don’t support esencial workers!
I am a construction worker and needed to wash my hands they said because of COVID they are not allowing anyone to use bathroom. After I asked that all I needed was to wash my dirty hands.

How do we stay safe from COVID if we can’t wash our hands? Don’t they recommend to wash your hands every time?
