WaBa Grill, Norwalk CA

On July 6th at 6: 08 p.m. Ordered Bowl and added avocado; it had black Parts on it I took a picture I sure did the person when I place another order today to please do not put up a, that's black. She told the other girl with a ponytail and curly hair and she made a face sarcastically and I'll hurt her tell the cook not going to eat black avocado. So the girl that was preparing the food I showed her the photographs on my phone and she said to my surprise: " there's nothing I can do that's how we sell it". I did not appreciate that answer and I spoke with the cook and he had the right attitude indicating that the girl was in error of her attitude and he was sorry that we got the black avocado on the last order. People shouldn't get fired they should get retrained; but more importantly, people that get hired need to have the right attitude and food service it's not an easy job- dealingwith people. But you have to be polite and hear out the complaint if there's any with the right attitude

Not once but three times it took for me to actually write this. The manager "Ashley" is very rude and lazy. I dont understand how it is an issue for her cook dumplings. Using the same line. We only have 5left.she needs to do her job. I was told by another employee (sweetheart) to order it online because they cant turn down that order.
So my order was for pick up and I dont mind waiting. But I was sitting there and she had the nerve to ask if im waiting for an order.i said yes.for. Pick up. She said sorry we dont have any orders for pick up. So i wanted to show her the confirmation order on my phone so we can figure out if It was wrong. But she didnt bother coming to see it. So another employee again had to let me know my order is almost done. Well. I dont know what her problem is. She needs to leave her personal problems at home and do her job

Terrible service. Rude manager. The food is measured in small portions. Might as well weight it out.

Also it’s dirty. The front doors Disgusting seem that no one cleans.

I hope I don’t get sick from here.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I only got food here because I was staying at a nearby hotel and had no other options. Absolutely terrible. Rice was not fresh. Was hard and dry and was either poorly warmed up from being refrigerated or was sitting out at ambient temp for hours. "Kimchi". I have no words. Avoid it at all costs. It's not kimchi. Even as an abstract interpretation, you couldn't even call it that. It was Edamame and cucumbers in sweet chili sauce. The side salad I got was made at least a day ago. Cucumbers were slimy, tasted awful, the lettuce was rotten on the bottom of the bowl. This place does not deserve the one star I had no choice but to give it. Utter waste of money.

I told them they were out of ice, they said they'd take care of it. They weren't busy and were chatting amongst themselves. Pretty lame

I eat here all the time when in the area and never had a serious complaint or issue but the other day I ordered a beef plate with avocado and white rice, but what I received was brown rice, no avocado as well as a not so "fresh" orange and no dressing on the salad. When called they said they would credit me a bowl (not a plate) the next time I came in which I was fine with but when I came in they said we can't give you a bowl but we can give you some avocado, like why would I drive back up for avocado? The cook seemed as if he didn't care as I explained and personally I don't get confrontational with the ones handling my food as it would give me a uncomfortable feeling after receiving it. I feel as if I have to find a new Waba Grill as of now.

I placed my order on my way there and it was ready in less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend the rib eye steak bowl with extra spicy waba sauce!

Horrible service and the food is just mediocre.teens that work here, act as if customers just take away from there rumor and stories time

We enjoy to go out. Last night we found this fine place which friends told us about. We spent a beautiful experience there with exceptional cooking and an efficient stuff and an impressive chief cook. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we shall definitely come back very soon. We deeply recommend.

My order wasnt done correctly it didnt had any veggies the chicken has no flavor they didnt want to get it right saying they ran out of ingredients really bad service from the lazy girls in the back I would never order from this store again

They offer a large variety of fresh food. I like dining here. The employees are always welcoming, pricing is fair and the place is always kept clean.

This Waba has come a long way. The new owners addresses all past issues, including their staff. Since changing hands, I've had nothing but good food and services when visiting this location!
