WaBa Grill, Downey CA

My mom and I went to waba grill and it was empty at the time. We ordered two plates and a side of shrimp. They forgot to add the shrimp. I don’t know how they forgot if no one was else in the store

This is the third time I noticed the downsized portions, half of the rice they used to serve, very small portion of salmon, chicken or steak, it’s like having half a bowl for the price of a bowl

Every time I go to a Waba grill they make my Asian salad with missing ingredients… EVERY time.
EXCEPT the one on imperial/Garfield. They do it EXTREMELY WELL!

Not as good as it use to be several years ago, but it's still really good. Their Waba sauce is a must.

Haven't been to waba since last year. The place is clean. The seats are comfortable, but the food is still subpar. Feels generic. No depth of flavor.

Been there several times and most of the time they don't welcome or acknowledge you. A simple hello we will be with you makes a big difference along with a smile. Other than that food is ok, can't complain.

I ordered a chicken and steak plate and they gave me very little chicken and steak and the rest was salad. So I paid for only salad no meat this crazy.

Order was placed on the app, because Maps said it was opened, but this location was closed. The app processed the order, showed complete, and took the money, but there was no way for me to have picked up my order. Customer service from this location that can help me with this specific issue has not gotten back to me, 4 days later.

Alicia Salazar, same thing happened to me. I ordered the weekend right after Christmas and still no refund/ credit to my card after calling many times and getting the around from the manager or telling me she has to make a call or will look into it and will call me back, no return call so I call back and she is gone for the day. I called the corporate office and was told they are a franchise and the refund comes directly from them but was going to send a notification to them an they have a couple days to refund and was told if not received by Monday call them back. I'm ready to go in and make a scene. It's over 30.00 that they owe me.

The girl rudely cut my friend off, she was asking 'could. ' when she got snapped at that her bag already had sauce.

Very elegant and convenient restaurant. They provide big portions and for reasonable prices. We liked the food a lot and the staff were very welcoming and chatty. I recommend this place.

The food is always fresh and flavorful, cashiers provides awesome customer service. I loved the cleanliness and vibes. Worth a try.

Easy walk from Comfort Inn so quite convenient. Friendly and efficient staff from ordering to serving. I had a salmon veggie bowl that was satisfying in appearance, taste and amount. It was quite filling so the fact that the menu photos showed more veggies than my bowl is not very relevant but don’t be surprised at the difference. If I had been served a bowl matching the photo I would have been unable to finish it.
