Waku Waku Sake Bar reviews
20This spot always delivers. They serve great dishes for reasonable rates, there are no long waits even when they are packed.
Yummy rolls! The rice was warm and the seaweed was crispy. We came at a slower time and so the server was super quick. I would have wished it was a bit slower. I was scarfing down one roll and before I finished the next one was already on my plate. And the other server had told me to eat it quickly before the seaweed gets soggy so I kept scarfing down 4 rolls. Felt like in 10 min lol also, I had no idea what I was eating I couldn't really hear. YUMS tho!
So I went expecting sushi sushi.well yunno like the kind with all the creative stuff inside like avocado and mangos and whatever else sushi places decide to put into their sushi rolls, but this sushi spot is very different! But I love it! They specialize in hand rolls, and they make it right in front of you. I didn't have time to sit and stay, so I ordered cut hand rolls to go, I got one with lobster and another with blue crab. They have a cute little to go box set up and it's literally just rice, meat, and seaweed! It's DELICIOUS! The meat has so much flavor I was shocked! And the prices aren't ridiculous either! Definitely recommend
Got seated and waiting time was 10-15 minutes on a busy Saturday evening. Ordering was a breeze and handrolls were delicious! I would come here again when I get the cravings!
The food is fresh a delicious. You can request to have the hand rolls done with less rice as they are filling. We got the 5 piece combo and it was just enough to fill and walk away not so stuffed with rice.
I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this fine place.happy to tell that we enjoyed a enjoyable evening and the restaurant was absolutely one of the reasons for this outstanding celebration. The team contributed in a sweet way, the food was tasty and my friends were very overjoyed. We shall surely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
I love Sushi Enya! Not only is it the best sushi in town in my opinion, but also the best service. We have been getting takeout from there since Covid happened, and literally every time I call, they are SO nice and same when we pick it up. I can't tell you how refreshing that is, as unfortunately, good service is hard to come by these days. Our faves are the W Dragon and AC Milan rolls. We especially love that the rolls are smaller bite sizes with more pieces, as they are so much easier and tastier to eat than places that serve rolls that are giant pieces and have to be eaten in two bites, yuck. Thanks Sushi Enya for being amazing all around!
Had a very good experience in this spot with my friend. The food arrived rapidly and the service is just great. Prices are fair.
Nice place for small family and had good happy hour. Service is very quick and very friendly. The lady was very patient with our kids. Love that there's televisions around for each table.
I like the rice cake here. The price is worth the food. I think it is a good place if you're looking for a breakfast place to get food at before work.
I loved the sushi at this place. Quick and friendly service and the perfect place to get a bite before your show.
Amazing happy hour. Cool staff and cant beat them $3 sapporo. Chef and all staff give you a sincere welcoming in their language.
My go to stop in Hollywood. It's small and quaint the chef is Japanese and they always hook me up with a little something extra when I go
Just a tiny spot, 12 or so tables plus the bar. The food was very good, and served swiftly. The menu had a selection of poke, sushi, sashimi and cooked items, too. The sake was good. The price for dinner for 2 was pretty reasonable, top.
It was grossly overpriced. 20$ for a small sushi platter. This is not a place for average Americans. Nor is it a place for the wealthy. I'd give it 1 star but I feel bad for picking on the mentally disabled version of a restaurant.
We were so happy to have stumbled across this place! The sushi was absolutely delicious. The fish was so flavourful. Our server was so attentive and friendly. I always had a full glass of water in front of me. Having dinner here was a great experience.
Pretty solid food ranging from ramen to sushi. My only complaint is that they charge for hot tea.
Delicious food - better quality than you usually get for the same price in other places! Fast service, cute interior and all this right next to Arclight on Sunset and a lot of bars and lounges, so your dinner can transfer into a full night out!
Bad sushi fish quality was sub par. At least that's what my GF said. I personally thought it was just ok.
Very nice sushi bowl! My wife and I loved it! Quick friendly service and will definitely recommend this place and we'll be going back there soon!
