Walgreens Pharmacy, San Jose CA

Normally I HATE coming here. However Jashawn at the pharmacy drive thru not only treated me with the first smile I have had all day but he even helped to renew my daughters prescription. Usually I’m told to call the doctor myself to renew it. He treated me like a person and not just another obstacle to get through. Thank you for your help and your smile Jashawn.

This is the only pharmacy within a 10 mile radius that's open past 10pm, but every time I go, it's always closed with a note saying they're short staffed.clearly this is an issue with management, as the store can't open without employees to work the registers. Nobody goes to Walgreens at 2am on a whim, I've always needed something urgently and not been able to get it since everything it closed early since the pandemic.if you're not going to have enough staff to stay open past 10, then change your hours.ridiculous, I feel bad for the workers.

Horrible service. Every time I call I am on hold for minimum 30 minutes just for the call to end without being supported. In-person wait time is also terrible.

Came to the drive-thru pharmacy after a late night ER visit requiring a prescription medication. Waited approximately 40 minutes for the two cars in front of me to finish their business. When it was my turn, I waited another 20 minutes for a short (tone) and slightly attitudinal attendant to ask me for my name & what I was there for. After another 20 minutes I received my prescription, but would definitely not return again unless it was an absolute emergency.

Been here a couple of times since child needed medicine late at night. Always bad customer service. There is only one counter manned who is handling both the line (about an hour wait) and the drive through. The pharmacists also seem to be just hanging around which makes it even more annoying when I am told that a prescription sent 3 hours ago ‘just’ came in.

This pharmacy is one of the few 24 hour ones and so is always crowded past 9pm. They seem to make a lot of money, wonder why they don’t get another person to man the counters.

This place is an absolute nightmare. The pharmacists appear to be in complete chaos running around and overworked. It took one whole hour to get my booster shot after making an appointment, coming on time and being the second in line. Insanity!

I am always very patient and polite to pharmacy workers, but do not tell a client with a child that the medicine can be bought from the shelf in the store without a prescription, while making them sit and wait an hour and not even bother to make the medicine! How can this be? Why do you always have queues? Instead of three, only one cash desk works!? It's just awful!

They have the worst pharmacy ever. No one answers and the calls are dropped. When there is a problem with your prescription no one calls. I’m going to another pharmacy.
