A hidden very historically significant find. A definite must see while in Kern River Valley. A step back in time. The cemetery on the hill is a definite must see.

Love this place gots alot history here and great views so I was super bummed out and sad to see the amount of disrespect pple have for this historical point of interest site.

Well, as of Nov. 2021 Walkers Cabin is NOT closed. The gate is unlocked. Some restoration work is being done. Interesting spot. Be sure to walk lightly as this place is historicly significant in what took place here long ago.
