Wally's Pizza Bar reviews
18I visited Wally's with my family of 10 people. It was a packed house for Sunday night football. They were quick to accommodate us, and the waitress was amazing. The service was awesome despite the crowd. The food was delicious and piping hot. It was a great experience, and we will be returning.
Food was just delicious. My first time here but definitely not my last. Jessie was our server/bartender. She was awesome and I loved chatting with her. I can't wait to go again.
Another horrible experience from this horrible restaurant. Bob, the manager is completely worthless and needs to go work at taco bell. Dan, figure out how to keep food in your inventory because it's pathetic that you never have the food you advertise. Horrible customer service. It is very obvious the owner does not care about the customers
Always great experience. Wally's provides and hometown feeling and some really great food. The smoked gouda and chicken pizza is next level.
We usually don't come here because of several bad experiences.
But we were in the mood for the walnut pair salad. It was yummy as this salad alway is!
Then I saw the bread pudding. I ordered it and FANTASTIC! My husband usually won't eat dessert. He's not into sweets or dessert. But we were spoon fighting over the last bite of this dessert
But most importantly, our server. What can I say? Phenomenal! Best service in a long time! What a people person! I wish I had gotten his name. But we did leave a twenty dollar tip for two salads and a dessert. My big thing is pre-bussing. I don't want my finished dishes sitting all over when I'm done and want to visit. And he pre-bussed! That's something that seems not to be important to businesses these days.
Also, he upsales nicely. That's great for businesses. And oh, so busy! But he made sure to check on us regularly. And talked about the food like he was proud he worked there! (and no, we do not know him, lol)
We were there Thursday afternoon-ish about 5pm
8/17, hopefully, our server gets cudos for our turnaround on this place!
Sports bar with excellent thin crust pizzas and lots of beer on tap. Pear salad is really good too. Can be crowded, but service is friendly and efficient.
Ok. I decided to update my review since the owner responded. A few years back I gave Wally's 4 stars! Now, regrettably, it's 2 stars at best. The gouda mac and cheese is dry and the pizza is nothing like it used to be.
Service is super slow even for pickup.
I earned my reviewer badge so I try to make legitimate reviews here. I've come here many times and unfortunately I'm done. I phased out Folsom Lake Bowl back in 2003, Base Camp Pizza in 2016, and now Wally's. They're owned by the same people.
For me pizza was just ok, especially for the price. Service was great. It was loud, but that is expected in a sports bar.
Not sure how this place got voted "best" as they claim. We recently moved to the area and if this is the best pizza we are sorely disappointed. Maybe the people voting were drunk from the bar. We tried this because of the claim of it being great, as well as the reviews. We ordered the "garlic chips" and a medium Hawaiian. The chips had zero flavor, basically just mozzarella on a thin crust. The pizza was ok.very little sauce, toppings were ok. Once again, just not much flavor. Prices were on par for a mediocre pizza. We tried the other pizza place across the street a month ago and it was marginally better and about the same price.
Wow, this place lives up to the sign that I saw on the freeway. It was the perfect meal on my way home after a strenuous hike. The wings were so good and juicy and the "Base Camp" pizza was delicious. The pizza was meat and full of toppings. The pizza paired great with the Basecamp Lemonade and the Knees Deep IPA. The atmosphere and music were great. I'll definitely be stopping here after my next hike.
First time trying Wally's we really enjoyed it. The food was fantastic and the service was great my only concern is it's a little pricey for four people with three beers it was over $150 including tip.
This was an amazing experience. I came while visiting a family member, and it was probably the best pizza I have ever had, no joke. The service was incredible, and the the atmosphere was just as great. Sadly, I don't have any pictures, but am hoping to come back here next time I'm in the area!
Went because they advertise vegan pizza. Had not vegan cheese in stock or vegan pizza despite three grocery stores with vegan cheese within walking distance. Advertisements on the TV's in the restaurant said had vegan pizza just to irritate us more. Heard them telling the people in the next booth no vegan pizza too
Pizza and wings were great. Service was lackluster at best, but food and drinks came out fast and was really good.
Very clean, delicious barbecue chicken calzone with a side pear salad with candied walnuts and blue cheese, yum accompanied with a strawberry lemonade. Will be back!
Well I took a few friends to Wallys on Saturday about 12: 30, was hoping for a calzone like I had during the weekday, come to find out they changed their menu on the weekend to include breakfast. Well they don't even serve hamburgers on the weekends just breakfast Italian pasta pizzas it was just something I wasn't expecting was not really happy with what we had. My friend ordered a Bloody Mary should have returned it it was not at all good. Terribly sad I really enjoyed the weekday meal.
Good service, great food.
This place is popular for a reason. Excellent for happy hour or any other occasion
The best quality pizza around. The staff is always so friendly. The manager, I didn't get his name but he has arm tattoos, was so kind and checked on us a few times through out our meal because they were really busy and the server seems overwhelmed. I am so happy to see the Latin luau pizza now on the menu. It is my favorite pizza here. I do miss the live music though.
It’s a good thing they don’t have one of these in Vegas because we would be in TROUBLE. Pricing was good. Portion sizes were good. The pizza was DELICIOUS. The spinach and artichoke dip was also very good. 10/10. We’ll come anytime we’re in town!
