Moe in automotive is terrible we had to wait about 10 minutes because the customer they were helping needed a refund. Instead of helping the line of customers on the other register. Moe started playing with their phone

Security didn't yell at me for sitting here after I was inside the store. Unlike WinCo.

It's Wally World. Folks smart enough to run one competently won't work there. But they sell cheap stuff cheap.

The pharmacy staff rock and are totally amazing people definitely will recommend going here

I’m from out of town so I’ve been to smaller, bigger, & Super Walmarts, this one is a small to midsize, it’s grocery area is the smallest area but has some good choices for food products. There don’t have anything fresh like at grocery stores such as fresh fruit, vegetables & fresh cuts of meat, but they do have some refrigerated & frozen processed type of foods & also milk & eggs.

Usually well stocked. Competitive prices. More brand choices. Great deals and deep discounts from time to time. Easy returns.

This is the Walmart ALL memes are made of. I promise if you make a trip out of just cruising up to see the life that dwells here you'll be dying.

Friendly staff at this Walmart the shelfs were sometimes a little empty but it's ok because this Walmart has everything you will need

Tricky review.but it's an honest one. There are some amazing ppl working here I've got a lot of love for! Friendly, helpful ppl that I look fwd to seeing when I do visit. That's who the stars are for, them alone.
Because there's a dark side if you use "Curbside Pickup" where you get;
Opened food items taped shut missing product, rancid milk- the jugs were opened and chunked up at the top- disgusting, canned food items so dented they shouldn't be sold and dang near impossible to get open, a totally rude and disrespectful guy that just tosses your items in your vehicle despite being asked to use the empty reusable shopping bags in his face after being kindly asked to use them.
Impossible to exhange expensive broken household products bought online from store, in store.make it make sense?
Management (person I spoke to anyway) has no problem with open food items being sold to you through Curbside pickup and instead asks you to come in to store, stand in line for refund or exchange, which isn't promised.
How about having some ethics and not selling opened or damaged food products missing items to customers?
Perhaps more training is in order?
Calling HQ resolves issues quickly, apologetically with a refund however

Half the store under lock and key, not the employees fault just be ready to spend half your shopping trip finding someone to open a case for chapstick or basic items like string/thread or $2 padlocks etc across every department, not just your typical high value high theft items of the past. Good old California, dystopian compared to Walmarts or other stores in nearby western Nevada or Central Oregon

Needs more /better variety in women's clothes.

They seem to have everything we need and if they don't the online app will get it for you, they have extremely helpful staff.

They didn't have the size of bottled water that I wanted. I wanted 20 oz bottles had to take 8 oz bottles.

One star because it is within walking distance, and because the staff is friendly, which surprises me seeing how it is CALIFORNIA after all. But this Walmart has zero selection. I mean NOTHING! I'm 48- years-old and I've never seen a Walmart that had NOTHING to offer consumers. Nooooooothing!

My first visit to Susanville Walmart. I found the store to be very clean, well stocked and zoned nicely.
I made a habit of stopping employee's and deliberately asking questions. I was greeted every single time with a smile and a good attitude.
I live out of town, quite a distant from Susanville and I would absolutely, happily spend the gas and the time to drive to this store again.

Busy place. Not many self checkout stands. Very congested. Store seemed dirty. Laid out weird.

Everyone who works here at checkout is extremely rude. Have stated to me and other people that my kids steal because they are black. Very unprofessional. Only lanes that are open is checkout.

Great shopping experience here. Came in from out of town to grab some supplies for my time visiting. Impressed how this store compares to other Walmarts I have been in. All employees and managers were extremely friendly and helpful. Employess would stop what they were doing to ensure I was finding everything OK. Would definitely shop at this location again.
