I went for an oil change, I always come here but it’s the last time I’ll be here. Horrible customer service

My car requires full synthetic oil. Wal-Mart is the best value by far for this type of change. The techs are helpful and will notify you via text when the job is done. I can't recommend this location for that service more highly.

This is the cheapest place that I could find a tire under warranty. The service is wonderful, I just wish they would’ve put my spare tire back.

Well, that was both my first and LAST time taking my car to Walmart's Automotive Department for any repairs requiring labor.

A couple of days ago, I noticed a slow leak in my front driver's side tire. By this morning the tire had lost most of it's air pressure and was almost completely flat. I dropped it off at Walmart's Auto Dept immediately trying to find out if it could be patched or if I needed to replace the tire. I was immediately quoted for a patch job ($15), so I went along with it, assuming that must be the correct repair, and was told the patch would be completed in 40 minutes.

. 2 hours later, I found myself waiting in line to pay for the repair. 20 minutes after that, I finally paid the cashier and looked over my receipt to read the mechanics notes.

Unfortunately for me, there wasn't a single note or word explaining what had been determined as the cause of the leak, if anything was found stuck in my tire, a reason why it took so long.nothing. I asked the cashier for more info, but she was also unaware of any details regarding the tire repair. I looked briefly for the mechanic who worked on my car, but couldn't find him anywhere in the garage.

So I left Walmart, nearly 3 hours after dropping my car off, wondering if any sharp/foreign objects had been found causing the leak, and unsure if the repair (s) necessary to stop the air leak had actually been performed.

I have a sneaky suspicion that in the next few days I'll find that same front driver's side tire leaking air again, with Walmart's Auto department passing off 2 patch jobs in 3 days as a "crazy coincidence".

Unfortunately, after countless calls and long waits on hold, and never actually reaching anyone, I decided to go somewhere else

Tire services are for made-in-advance appointment only & there seems to be no opening for walk-ins. So for an emergency flat tire & if you don't have a spare tire on you for AAA, Big Brand Tire & Service nearby is better than Walmart Auto Care Centers.

The tires I ordered were never delivered to the store, and my scheduled 7am appointment was cancelled after I arrived at the store from 50 miles away.

THEN

After I called to reschedule appointment and speak to a manager. I was told told be called back.and that never happened.

THEN

I called 8 times and no-one picked up the line, but in the ninth call someone picked up the line and places me on hold but never came back to the line after placing me on hold for 29 minutes.

THEN

I received a call informing my tires had arrived as a scheduled appointment was confirmed

THEN

I called to confirm the appointment and they said they have no record of the tire delivery or my appointment

BY FAR this is the worst customer experience I've ever received.this operating group at Walmart has zero accountability, treat their customers as trash.as I would give them a negative 50 in rating as a 1 is too much
