Never coming back - treated me like a thief only because I dropped my check at the cash desk - would t let me take my items that I just purchased.
Had to go back inside and look everywhere for my receipt for my 20$ purchase

Good displays and nice prices. Well trained employees with smile.
Especially 1 ga. BRAND water (Crystal Geyser) price is $0.90 which is cheapest this area.

I went there to go grocery shopping. I just love that the place is always very clean. The employees are very friendly and nice. Every time I need help with looking for a certain food item the employees are always willing to help me. I would give Walmart 10 stars if I could. Keep up the good work Walmart.

For some reason the Neighborhood WalMart at Mission College a problem with cracked eggs, it got so irritating to have to open a dozen packs to search for a carton of eggs that are not damaged. I mentioned it to cashier, I suggested that they put cameras to see if customers are causing this problem.

Only one checker with a line of 23 people (I actually counted) and this was in the middle of the afternoon. People were getting mad and leaving their carts and walking out. From now on I'm going to look at checkout BEFORE I fill my cart!

The place had over crowded since th there was merchandise all in the aisles. Hard to maneuver around with a cart.

Worst walmart I've been to in ages I went in thinking the customer service was good no work usually greets you.you have to greet them very negative environment and the product they sell goes bad within 2 days I bought some pickles kept them refrigerated and still went bad. I dont know if they are selling sold out products or what. But I think this walmart needs a check up asap.

Shelves are getting pretty bare. Crew is trying their best to get merchandise out.but some gone before out of the boxes. Keep sane. Use manners. And know this will be over with soon.

Only because it was close to my house, otherwise will not shop here, most of time merch have no prices, shelfs are empty, cashier's here are so rude and they don't have any customer service, restroom dirty most of the night

WHO LOCKS UP LAUNDRY DETERGENTS? And not even the most expensive ones? Not the greatest shopping experience, and not the smartest management there.

#Walmart The bottom line? Costco reigns supreme for overall shopping and value, but you need to shop somewhere for those items Costco doesn't carry, and that's where Walmart fits in. In general, this is a good place to shop for most things canned, boxed and generic. Meats, breads and produce are average to substandard and not well stocked. On the service side, if ever there was an argument for robots replacing humans, Walmart would be the poster child and the perfect use case. Walmart employee's walk around like Zombies, are difficult at their best, to communicate with and seem disengaged. Maybe Walmart doesn't pay enough, expects too much from them, but interacting with employee's here is simply undesirable. One older Walmart lady working checkout constantly argues with customers, insults them if they don't understand the self checkout process and in general embodies the depressing Walmart shopping experience. With few exceptions, the lines are long at at the single or two traditional checkouts usually open, otherwise you wait for a self checkout lane. Be prepared to be patient and wait, almost always.

Selection and prices, (meats and produce excluded) are usually good if you can get in and out in a reasonable time without having to interact with a team member.employees seem unhappy and have that do not care attitude. The environment, while clean, is stark and depressing but if price and selection are important, and you can tolerate the lack of help or personality, then Walmart is ok. I shop here for price and convenience, ignoring the Walmart culture and experience.

Something else I've noticed. Many of the items are almost out or are out, and there's usually a lot of goods sitting on pallets waiting to be stocked on shelves as you can see in the pictures I took on this visit.

Update 3.28.18 @ 7: 15pm. Stopped in for some ground coffee, waited in line just over 12 minutes to get to a register. There were 18 customers waiting in line in front of and behind me.

Update September 23rd, stopped in for some creame stood in line for 15 minutes behind 9 other customers, for some reason there's never enough cashiers to ring and check customers.

Update 2.23.2020
Waited nearly 30 minutes in line at 12 noon. Under staffed and underqualified staff

This morning I was at the cashiers and two Asian-looking people walked by wearing a mask on their mouth. One employee looked at me and said: “I don’t like those people, only Americans”, because she thought I was American. I’m Italian.
Even if I were American, that was a very bad thing to say. Racism and discrimination should be allowed in a public working place!

Love this Walmart! This is the best Walmart in San Jose. The staff is always friendly and helpful! I honestly haven't been in a Walmart where all employees use the 10 × 10 foot rule since the 90's!

Just be careful of pricing, scans many times don't match shelf prices. Caveat emptor. Some good products and prices, just be observant.

Good prices, but slow merchandise stocking. Cashiers are hit and miss, some really efficient and others.

Glad to have this neighborhood store, Walmart, for groceries, as some of the older stores have closed in this area. Most of the items and brands are generally well stocked, and one can find good fresh vegetables, meat, breads, condiments, milk and other Staples here. There's pharmacy too inside, so one can fill the prescription as well while you shop. Checkout can take sometime, though the self checkout does help a bit.

The store has started keeping few items in personal care in locked cupboard, so you have to ask for help, which can take about 5 minutes or more

It's great to have fresh fruits and veggies close by, the selection isn't the widest but they generally have most things. Also there is a small pharmacy section to get those sorts of products.

They had the organic rice we were looking for. Hope they start having much more organic produce and meat to.
