Walmart Supercenter, National City CA

It's always super crowded and if you wanted to request help from somebody it will take a long time especially when you have to keep pushing the button for someone to arrive they take a long time. It's conveniently near my place and has what I need to get that's about it

I placed an order for delivery and the order was stolen. It was a nightmare! I called the customer service line and they assured me that the order would be redelivered that day, typically within a couple hours. A few hours passed and we just called back to have the order refunded. It was July 4th, and we needed to buy food for a get together. We were told that the money would be refunded and back on our form of payment within 3 hours. We went shopping at a store close to hone for a few items with the money we had and assumed all was OK. We got home and ended up getting a call from the actual store, this store. They said they were going to send out a duplicate order and that it would be delivered in a couple hours. We reluctantly accepted. Waited around. Canceled plans. Three, then four hours passed. We finally got a notification that the order was on its way. STOLEN! Like what? ! I get we ordered a few items but we were waiting outside waiting to gather the order. Customer service didn't refund to our card. We called back the next day and they supposedly processed a refund but we felt so unheard about how crazy things got, plus we still had no money. The store and regional manager got involved. Finally the order was delivered on Tuesday. We met the driver at the front and got it. Some items were unavailable but whatever. It was a couple day ordeal that never needed to happen. We are thankful that the store managers were as helpful as they were or we wouldn't have received a thing or even felt like anyone cared. They need a better delivery partner though because that's crazy that it happened twice!

Decent experience besides one of the employees in the self checkout. I would rate 3.5 if I could.

I just came in for one or two small items. Don't normally shop here. Store is very crowded both in terms of customers and the spacing of goods. The lines went back more than half the length of the store. Once one of the regulars told me there was a separate line for self checkout I was able to get out in a semi reasonable time.

EXCELLENT as usual. I am happy going to Wal-Mart, always find everything and good prices. Perla Medina

Pretty anoyin that there's an employee checking your cart making sure you didn't steal anything, because that's how you make people feel with your employees at the door like guard dogs sniffing you out!

Quite an experience. This store feels claustrophobic, too much stuff in too little room, stacked high. Very difficult to navigate and find things. If you buy a tool box with tools in it, you have to find an associate to unlock the cabinet, then they won't hand it over but deposit it at a random checkout. If you buy razor blades, you have to find an associate to unlock the cabinet, then they will put the blades in a portable lockbox before you are allowed to put it in the cart. Then you get to find the checkout where your toolbox is stored, never mind it's the longest line. You can't change to a nearly empty line unless you leave the toolbox behind. Shopping while feeling like a criminal, no thank you.

I asked the store manager for help, and totally got brushed off. There was no verbal acknowledgement whatsoever, just a hand sign to address one of the other employee standing by. Totally not going back to shop with this insensitive store director.

I should apply to be a supervisor here if all you have do is walk around and give half answers to customers. Had a question about shoes could not find the person in charge of the aisle. Asked a yellow jacket "supervisor" if they could help me. She just shrugged and said I don't know I don't work in this aisle. I asked if she could send someone to better assist me she said sure. Waited 20 minutes and no one came. I understand people are busy at night but usually there is someone in a different aisle working on something. Asked another worker walking by she said she couldn't help but still tried to help me out. Spoke to another "supervisor" and she said she would bring up the situation in the shoe aisle to another supervisor. Walking out I stumbled upon the first supervisor who said she was sending someone to help. I was so thrilled and happy. We look at each other, I told her so much for sending someone right? And she started bad mouthing the employees and their lack of work. Top supervisor of the year lol.

It's been a while since I've been to this location, but it has been a favorite hangout when I used to live near the National City area.

Hard to find someone to tell me where a certain department was located. In their defense, it was mere and most employees were busy stocking. Cashier was very nice. I'll be going there again.

It's big, no it's huge! You can find every you're looking for. I saw a staff member with a broken leg. Why does she even have to work?

It is my go to store because it is close. Since the remodel there is a lot of dust on the shelves. Also people leave their trash laying around as well as they leave it on products from people to pets.

As a south Asian, I wasn't knowing about this walmart earlier. Once visited I could understood that, it's a place where you get anything of everything. Explored it the last day of my trip and purchased everything that was missed in my wish list. Nice shopping place. I recommend to all average budgeted travelers.

They are remodeling.so they don't have things the website says they do.but the grocery section is excellent.

It is surely a pleasant experience to shop here. Recently they have redone the floor and rearrange areas. It is a wonderful store to shop at.

It's a huge store and it's was very close to the hotel where we stayed. The store had decent parking space and it was crowded.

Walmart has lower price which is good but sometimes they have clothes and the sizes are really reduce

Don't rely on anyone to be helpful. Got completely blown off, and misled several times just to find out they don't have what they've had for years. Also extremely busy. Busiest Walmart I've ever been in.

Don't ever call this store to find out about a product. They have the worst operators. They have no knowledge of the merchandise and will leave you in hold until you hang up. If by chance someone actually picks up a call they're just as useless regarding the merchandise in their department.
