Warner Point, Gualala CA

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at Warner Point this past weekend and wow were we impressed. - The serenity and calm of this property is transcending. Coming in from Las Vegas the peace of Gualala has been a long time home coming. - Both the owners Katie and Greg are world class. They are very helpful, kind and frankly feel like family. - The property inside and out was clean as a whistle. They even had fresh eggs! - The property also hosted incredible views. Sunrise, Sunset. Don't even get me started. Absolutely STUNNING. - The sunny days are just as good as the foggy and rainy days! - SUPER beautiful no matter the weather! - The hot tub, shower, bath room, and kitchen were SUPER clean (We are OCD clean people) - WOW! - The surrounding little towns of Point Arena and Gualala make for an incredible set of adventures next to the beaches and Forrests. - I highly recommend Warner Point for any wedding, special family event or just a simple weekend stay. - Truly top notch! - We will be back!

We just wrapped up a 1 week stay in the cottage at Warner Point and I wish I could have stayed longer. I don't think pictures could ever do this place any justice - the views from the cottage and deck are better than most ocean front hikes I've been on. In addition to the deck and a well-maintained grill, there is also a private hot tub that has an amazing view of the ocean.

The cottage itself was a joy to stay in. The owners clearly have a vision for the place and pride of ownership: the kitchen has all the essentials from organic cooking oils to any appliance you may need. They have thought of everything and skimp on nothing - even the soaps, shampoos, etc are of high quality, and the bed sheets are organic cotton.

Finally, the property itself is vast and we spent a good amount of time just wandering around. There's a beautiful lookout point with benches and a fire pit, and a short path down to the beach. We felt safe and yet had 100% privacy during our entire stay.

This is one of those places that, the moment I arrived, I felt sad that I would eventually have to leave. I honestly can't wait to come back!

My husband and I got married here and had the best weekend. The venue is naturally gorgeous but all the little touches Katy and Megan added made the spot even more magical. We stayed in the guest house, which was lovely, comfy and clean with everything you could ever need supplied. The views are unreal, and all our guests really enjoyed their time exploring the property. It honestly felt like home by the end of the weekend.

We recently had our wedding at Warner Point and stayed in the wonderful cottage. Katie and Megan were awesome. They were there for us every step of the way 100%. They were very helpful in every aspect of the day. Everything was set up beautifully. I highly recommend this venue. Warner Point is a beautiful location surrounded by the sea.

Got married here summer of 2019. I cannot tell you how many people came up to my wife and I and said how epic the wedding was - "it was the best wedding I have been to". And a huge part of that was the venue, Warner Point. The Warners worked with us, were totally responsive to our requests and went above and beyond. Just look at the pics and see for yourself the views of the sunset, the cove, etc. They were super clear about everything, no surprise fees, they helped us find local vendors for food, equipment, etc, honestly it felt like being with family.

I know with COVID-19 spreading, and given it's the winter time, this isn't the optimal time for weddings and bringing people together, but this venue was so amazing I had to come back and post this review before any more time passes, so that if you are considering some sort of wedding in these times, or you are seeing this sometime in the future and things have calmed down.if you have an event or wedding at Warner Point, you will not be disappointed. A huge thank you to the Warners for everything.

Warner Point is an absolutely beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of your daily life. With panoramic breathtaking views and the sweet Warner family close-by, you’re in for a delightful stay. Warner Point is a perfect spot to host a wedding, to have a family getaway, or to just kick back and relax by yourself! Whatever you choose to do at Warner Point, you’re going to have an extremely pleasant time!

Warner Point was a dream venue for our wedding and we can't say enough nice things about Katy and Megan. We were worried that having a destination wedding in such a remote small town would be very difficult (we live in Denver and could only visit in person twice before the big day), but because of their connections around town and generosity, all of our fears were ungrounded. Both women were very attentive, positive and helpful all throughout the process of arranging our marriage to executing it on the day. They were incredibly communicative so that we were always in the loop but took charge of many details to make sure every little part of the day exceeded our expectations. We had regular calls to discuss progress with the music, catering, flowers, etc.and if there was ever something we were feeling unsure about, Katy took it upon herself to research the topic and get back to us with options and advice.

Most impressive, Katy and her husband Gregg spent countless hours transforming their already beautiful property into an incredibly gorgeous, special setting for the wedding. They built a whole new deck overlooking the water with twinkle lights and a bar for guests to get appetizers and drinks. They constructed a rustic dance floor that we could use instead of having to install one from the rental company. We had initially planned on getting porta-potties and they surprised us by installing actual toilets with cute, beachy decorations near the bar. Between the extra flowers, lights, bar, and bathroom, we were at a loss for words when we arrived days before the ceremony. It was beyond anything we had dreamed! As the sun dipped down on the horizon and we caught the last of those amazing rays, the lights came on and it looked just as wonderful at night.

Katy and Megan helped us organize shuttle pick-ups and drop-offs for guests, which was something we were particularly anxious about since taxis and Ubers aren’t available. None of us had planned something like this before but they were willing to tackle the challenge and it went very smoothly so we didn’t have to think twice about it on the actual wedding day. They recommended we get a tent for the dinner tables and dancing because of the wind that typically comes as the sun sets, and we were very happy that we did this. We even added a few heaters in the tent, which were great for some of our older guests. It was incredible to stay at their relaxing AirBnB cabin on the property after the reception so we didn’t have to travel far. To top it off, they connected us with a space to stay for our Honeymoon further up the coast after the wedding weekend, which was truly icing on an already pretty phenomenal cake.

We can't wait to come back to Warner Point for our anniversary and see the Warners and Megan, who now feel like part of our family. For anyone interested, we whole-heartedly recommend visiting, lounging, adventuring, and-most of all-getting married at Warner Point. Thank you so much for all that you did for us. We will never forget that special night, and neither will our friends or family!

This property has unrivaled views, absolutely stunning. The guest cottage here is the perfect romantic getaway, managed by kind thoughtful people, zero chance of disappointment.

This is an incredibly beautiful site with very gracious and accommodating hosts. I've had the pleasure of attending several celebrations from small and intimate dinners to classic grand events. Staying in the cottage on site has been deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. This is a favorite destination of mine on the Mendocino coast. The space, ocean views and tranquil privacy are truly amazing. Everytime time I spend time at Warner Point from celebrating with friends and family amidst panoramic Pacific views, to soaking in the hot tub under the stars; I leave fulfilled with life's best memories. Looking forward to going back soon!
