WaterWorks Park, Redding CA

I had a season pass to WaterWorks Park throughout the Summer of 1994 when I was 12 Years Old (I'm currently 40). I lived just down Market street at the time & my friends & I would walk up Miracle Mile with our towels in hand, on our way to go down some slides. We had a blast, so much fun & so many memories. I no longer live in Redding anymore, I moved to Oregon in the late 90s & still live here today. I'm amazed that WWP is still open & operating today. It was a lot smaller back then but it didn't matter, there was still fun to be had. I'll never forget those days. 5/5!

So I noticed the price of the season pass tickets are going up. And I am ok with that but the water gets so hot that there is no relief from the heat. And if I am going to pay more then it's time to expand the park. It's too small for the area. Gets crowded very fast

Small park, fun for young kids but overpriced otherwise.

Look I know we’re up here a ways away from any other water parks but WW is grossly overpriced for what they offer.

If you have kids under 8 or so, they’ll enjoy this small park. Adults and older kids, not so much. It’s usually pretty clean but man, even the food is super pricey for what you get.

It's nice to swim here at Water work, the water is warm and the place is clean.their slides are just right, not scary.really enjoy yourself with the kids and friends.

It would be nice if the ground was fixed on the way up to the water slides. I wonder what the board is covering Also, there's a hole right in front of the slide called the dragon. However I do have fun here, and I bring my kids here often. Would also be nice if the food was either a little cheaper or they gave you bigger portions.

It's not that nice but it's something. There are only a few rides, definately geared for kids. The food is overpriced junk food, the employees are unenthused, if listening to country music makes you want to drown yourself this is not the place for you.

Sorry but this place at 1 time was worth going to but now and the last few times I have gone it's dirty the employees are extremely rude and the manager is also unprofessional and rude and disrespectful.

Great spot for kiddos. Expensive all the way around. Show up early for parking and free shade. The Cabanas are overpriced. Kids love the slides and wave pool

It's a great place to take the kids when we are in town but man oh man do they need to clean better. My family and I went there about 2 weeks ago and have been many times over the years. We got there when they opened so I am judging this based on that and not after every one played all day. The bathrooms were terrible and the drains on the floors had clogged up with urine and toilet paper and wetness covered the floor. Stunk so bad and I had to dodge sewage just to get in the line to the stall. The pool needed a filter change and had so much random trash in it. First thing in the morning at 10am when they opened and it was like that. This family next to us purposely kept taking our tube we rented and it was frustrating to deal with but thankfully each tube is named differently so you know for sure it was yours once you find it. Anyways though it was still a great time for the kids and I'm happy with the new addition wave area. We still like this place and recommend taking the family there because there's something for everyone, I'd just recommend them to clean certain areas more

Worlds largest URINAL! Watch the little kids guzzling gallons of soda but never goes to use bathroom all day! I spoke to a guy who worked there and he said it's so foul that shock treatments of extra chlorine can only do so much.

Lots of fun. My only issue was some of the employees walking around like they hate life. Charge a dollar more and pay the staff a dollar more an hour and make them PRETEND to be happy for the kids. Watching Eyeore pout while having fun is a bummer.

The food was so gross unable to eat it. The service is slow unorganized overall just was not a great experience for the money you pay to get in.

WaterWorks Park is Great Place to Cool Down during hot summer months! The park features 5 different water slides, waves, Toilet Bowl, Avalanche and a lazy river! There's a water play area for just small kids! There are private cabanas, a snack bar and small store! There are float rentals. There's covered, table & chair sitting area And a lounge chair area! It's such a Fun Time!

My kids love this place. The season passes are quite affordable and that is coming from a full time single father of three. Definitely a go to place if you're trying to combat this heat without going all the way out to the lakes.

Drove from Alturas and half the slides were closed. I asked a worker what they could do for us and she replied "you know how many times I went to Disney land and my favorite ride was closed"

So much fun! My 6yr old had a blast. The wave pole was a new experience for me, it wasn't there the last time. Good family fun, little over priced go during the week if possible.
